Thinking of making a Christmas List?

I have no need for a Christmas List since we rarely exchange gifts due to money but I wanted to create a list of things I wanted anyway. So I did a search and found Wishlistr

It's a free online program that lets you create any wish list you want. You can organize everything you want all in one place. If you want you can add a link and a price to your item but you don't have to. You then can email your list to others. I don't think it has a print feature but I'm sure you could manage something.

I thought it was cool. I could have made an excell sheet but that is sooooo boring. smile

TEN weekends until Christmas... Yikes!

Cool site to get started listing ideas and organizing them by person.

This year will be pretty skimpy, but I think my best Christmases have been when we've been broke.

Isaac STILL has last years Wal-Mart wish list book!

Thanks for the idea, Woo...

I guess I ought to start thinking about anything I would like. I am sure that Santa, er, I mean my Mom will be asking by Thanksgiving. It always takes me forever to figure it out. And then I still don't know. Maybe something simple like giftcards to the supermarket.

What, you're leaving the orange and the nickel off the list this year? I'm shocked.Of course, with you're behavior, I don't think you better expect much more than a rock.

I don't even worry about what I want... it's all about the kids for me.

I'm with Mema.  I'm not really into getting gifts from others; I have a lot more fun buying stuff for the girls and the rest of my family.  And I still sign "From Santa" on some of the things I give the girls.

I love that my girls are older, but at Christmastime, I do wish they were little kids again.  It was always so much fun when they were little.  smile

Little kids at Christmas are the best. Last year I was driving my grandson Walker back from a family party. I saw the red light on an airplane up in the sky and just couldn't resist telling him it was Rudolph's nose. He went out of his little mind. That was the best part of the whole thing. smile.gif

I really miss that kind of stuff.  Someday when I'm a granny, I'll get to do that again.

Guess it is time to start planning gifts for the little guys again. They get so darn excited.

My girls still get excited, but they can usually guess what the gifts are now before they even open them.  Last year I started resorting to trickery......putting small stuff like cds, video games, or movies in really big boxes just to throw them off. laughing.gif

It also helped make it look like more under the tree.  Jeez, when a new video game costs over $50, you don't pick up too many of 'em.  no.gifhmm

I know that's right. I have a friend who lives on a very small income and has an autistic daughter. I try to do nice things for them around Christmas to make life a little brighter. Last year I wanted to get her a box set of Star Trek movies because Nikki (daughter) loves them so much. That was $180!!! I couldn't quite afford it.

It's ridiculous, isn't it??  I've already started my shopping....had to, just because of how much things cost.

I know I need to. Waiting til the last minute won't work this year. Besides... all the stores are already gearing up for Christmas, so it's not like you can really forget.

I know I put Christmas List in the title but it doesn't have to be for Christmas. You could even set up lists for others just to keep your ideas in one spot. I just thought it was cool.
