Good day all.

I think my to do list at home is longer than my one at work.  That makes it hard to be here.  But I still have plenty to do, and some fun stuff on my plate.  But I'm making myself get through the mundane stuff first before I start on the fun stuff.

Happy Monday! Ok, so maybe that's a contridiction in terms... Tulsa metro weather today should reach around 75! Beautiful! Oh, and hey... filled up last night for $2.37/gal. This is nice, but just you hide and see... after the election, drop you pants...

Morning all. I guess our growing season is officially over, we got our first frost overnight and it was a good one. That of course saddens me. The leaves have also decided to start chaniging and falling heavily in the last week.

In the meantime, I am trying to decide how stupid I should feel. Our CFO's father passed away last week and the viewing was last night and the funeral mass was this morning. I walked in this morning to find that most of the accounting department (except three of us, one is a new guy) went to mass. First, no one told me that they were all going. I figured the higher ups would go, but not the staff. I know that they work with him more closely and often than I do. I don't usually ask him for much and if I do, it goes through his secretary. I didn't know his father. I understand the support thing, but it is not like he needs me for support. He has he family and friends for that. Am I just thinking about it too much? I guess it would be totally different if may the other departments had gone too and there was no one here.

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!  smile.gif

Good game last night between the Rays & the Red Sox.  I was really worried the Rays were gonna let their chance at the series slip away, but they held on and are going to their first ever world series.

That's an AMAZING accomplishment for a tiny team stuck in the eastern division with behemoths like the Red Sox and Yankees.

SG, were you spraying champaign when they clinched?

No spraying...it was 11:30 but some loud cheers...now I have an opportunity for World Series Tickets, (games 1 &2) but they cost a fortune........nor sure what I'm gonna do......AHHHHHHHHHweirdface.gif

So last night I was working on a project on the computer, and sat cross legged on the couch for a few hours. When I finally got up, my hip and leg hurt. I didn't think anything of it, I just figured it was from sitting too long.

Then this morning when I got up, that upper leg hurt. Again, I didn't think much of it, and figured it was from the night before and it would work itself out. In fact, it got better as I peddled the exercise bike, although other muscles started aching just from pushing myself.

Now, all morning I've been planted in my chair, not moving, helping a client while she sat here with me. I just got up to go to the restroom, and my leg screamed out in pain as I stood.

What the heck have I done to my leg? I didn't do anything particularly strenuous over the weekend that I should be sore from. Can I really have muscle aches from sitting too long?

It doesn't feel like it. It feels like muscle pain in those muscles in the front of my upper leg. My glutes are a bit stiff too, but mostly it's the front of that one leg. It feels like I climbed a bunch of stairs yesterday and am feeling it today, but I didn't climb anything more than our stairs up to the bedroom, and it still wasn't any more than usual.

Hi everyone!  Dreary, rainy day here; almost perfect match for it being a Monday. hmm  And I'm hungry now that I'm home from work, but nothing looks/sounds good.  Wish someone else would've made me some lunch.

I checked my Facebook stuff and saw that Ultimo invited me to join this cool site.  You get to play a music game on the order of Guitar Hero by using the keyboard as a guitar.  It's kind of hard to get used to; I'm not doing very well at it right now, but it's a fun site!  Maybe in a few weeks I'll be good enough at it to challenge him to a song or two.  biggrin

Hope you're all having as good of a day as is possible for a Monday.  smile

My daughter has a Bass that she doesn't know how to play, and I've thought about taking some lessons so I can learn to play it.  smile

Ok, the Red Sox lost last night..but it went to game 7 and the better team won.
Go Tampa Bay..... they deserved it!! We played all busted up, and hurt. Looks to me like Big Popi, lost his pop!!

Made some progress today. I got the new vanity and counter top installed. Now we wait for Joe the Plumber to some hook up the sink.

We had some water damage on the kitchen ceiling and I got that all cut out and the first coat of mud put on that.

laughing.gif  Yeah, that's why I'd really like to learn how to play it!  All the hours I've got logged on the Guitar Hero games have put visions of being a real guitar player in my head........I wanna play some rock-n-roll on a real guitar or bass.  If I start lessons soon, maybe by the time I'm 50 I can be jammin' with a band out in my garage.  nod.gifbiggrinbiggrin
