oh hello. on break from work this morning for a bit. I just checked my investments. I've lost a lot of money.

the thing is, our 401k guy sez down is good, you can buy more shares with less money.

fine, good, but with what money?? its being lost at a record pace daily...

Oh, and there's some work being done on cable at my Mom's house, so the station may get bumped off the air at some point until I can get over there to restart it.

Went to tax class and did some cleaning. I still need to clean one more thing, but then I'm good.

I still need to go grocery shopping, do a little bit of other shopping, carve pumpkins, and finish costumes. But I have 2 days to do it, so I think it's doable.

Heading to my sister's in a few minutes for a Mexican lunch/dinner. Just got done making my mexi-dip.  I actually got full on makeup and hair. Not because I am going over there but just for the heck of it. Of course the wind is whipping so I probably wasted me time doing my hair but oh well. My husband is making fun of me because I have my boots on and I'm clunking around.

I'm hoping there will be margarita's and that she just wasn't enticing me with them.

Saturday was wet and windy...
Got my hair trimmed...
went to watch football with Mark...
taxi'd teenager around...
cooked mark something to take to work with him tomorrow...chillin now desoite a pile of ironing calling me

Said teenager went into town earlier and saw the remnants of an armed robbery - police vehicles, cordoned off streets etc... Lol turns out the bank staff were quick thinking and hit the security shutters...which also lock the doors and the perp was trapped in the front of the bank with what turned out to be an imitation firearm... he did try using a chair to break the window so he could escape... hahaha best laugh I've had for ages... glad no one was hurt too!

Hello all! This day is about over... I spent most of it with Momma. She asked me to go to Nebraska Furniture Mart and price new TV for her what with the upcoming change to digital only broadcasting in a few months. I found her a nice one on sale, and took it over to her house. For some reason, the State of Missouri Highway Department decided that late October is the perfect time to start a new construction project, so the normally 4-6 lane divided freeway was down to 1 lane each direction. hmm.gif It's supposed to be that way for the next year and a half. I did not know this until I was 2/3 of the way to her house and I ran into the traffic jam. Oh well...

It was sunny here today and the high was about 64 degrees. Nice change of pace from 50's and raining like it was almost all week. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice too. smile.gif

No margaritas. cry
I spent most of my time bored. They played poker and I do not play cards. So I played with the baby when she would let me.

Now I am watching a nailbitter hockey game. Possible overtime in the works.
