MzHartz sent me some fun Sun Ra, including the infamous "Nuclear War". We'll give that a spin a bit later on, after all the good kids are in bed.smile.gif

Hi all.  smile

Went up to the cabin yesterday and got it closed up for the winter. cry  It was a nasty day up there.....rained all day and cold!  Got home last night, woke up to more rain here, and it's been extremely windy all day too.  Was a good day to stay in the house.....I passed the time by playing video games.  smile

its been windy as heck over here too sandy- relly looked like a pretty sunny day to get outside tho, until you got out there- too cool & windy to enjoy it very much. and now its dark, but before that sure looked like some low-lying storm clouds rollin in.....hmm.gif

If it was colder, it looked like it could have started snowing yesterday and today.  bleh

Speaking of dark, I hate that it's getting dark earlier and earlier every day now.  It was dark here by 6:45 this evening.  cry

I think next weekend is when we set the clocks back an hour.  That means it'll be dark by 5:30.  blehblehcrycry  Why, oh why didn't I move out somewhere on the west coast a long time ago??  I hate the thought of winter coming on.  hmm

Oh, I didn't expect you to play Nuclear War on air! I think it's hilarious. But the other Sun Ra is good, I think everyone will actually like it.

Sun Ra. That stuff is crazy. I haven't had the tunes on. Sorry. Just got back from pumpkin carving in South Milwaukee. Some friends have the tradition of throwing a birthday bash/carving get together. Her children are getting older. It's different. Still fun. My boy was there. He's twenty three. :(
Anyway. The MT folks are back home. Mom In Law will leave tomorrow at Noon. Back to the remodeling of our home for the TGIF party on the 14th. Yikes!
Couple of parties this coming weekend. Halloween on a Friday. Madison should be out of control.weirdface.gif

They were tasty. I mean, we had fun. Wedding on Friday eve, bonfire Saturday eve (drove the old car out west for the get together)smile.gif

Hi all. I had a busy one today... took the stuff to the recycling center and then went and got a new leaf vac/ blower. Spent most of the rest of the day in the front yard trying to clean up from the big leaf dump from two of the trees in my front yard. Now I'm just flat worn out!

I've got this huge Maple tree in my backyard that still has some green leaves on it!  This tree is the last one in the neighborhood to get leaves in the Spring and the last one that drops 'em in the Fall.  It's always a close.....which is going to come first.....all the leaves fall off the tree or snow on the ground.  hmm
