2SDAY

Morning all. yawn.gif I've been up working since 1AM. Think I'm about ready for a nap. sleepy.gifteddy.gif

Did get to watch most of the Monday night football game. The Titans are still undefeated.

Fuzzy - sorry your Phillies didn't get to finish that game. I guess they have never before stopped a World Series game on account of weather. It's one for the history books.

Not much else to report for now.

Good Morning everyone, thought I would stop and say hi before I went into work, for some reason I just haven't had the time to chat during work but I can't quite put my finger on it.....anyone have any spare change I can borrow?

Good morning.
All that rain that was in Philly last night made it's way this way.... dark and dreary here.
That's all I have.

Good day all.

Poor Sparky. Spike your clients drinks with Valium and then tell them it will all be okay.

I can tell the economy is down, I'm getting caught up at work. But I'm liking the break. For now.

I am with you Mad. I actually fell asleep about 9 and woke up at 11:30. I gave up trying to go back to sleep about 2 and just got up and read.
Today is supposed to be beautiful and in the 90's again.

All packed for the hospital trip tomorrow. We will work a little later tonight and then head over to the hotel unless we hear that the surgery has been rescheduled again. I have an Ebay auction ending tomorrow and I fear I will lose because I won't be able to fight people off. I put in a high bid (for me) but I think they are now just waiting to the end to take me out. I know cuz I would. cry But i don't think I will be home by 5:42 pm. I doubt I will be thinking about it while I'm there but I will be bumming later.

Happy Diwali!! Let's Celebrate!!!

Diwali is one the most well-known Indian festivals and is often referred to as the Festival of Lights. The word itself means "rows of lighted clay lamps." It is a five day celebration marked with bright colors, oil lamps, feasts, and sparklers. Diwali occurs on the 15th day of the Hindu month of Kartika (during October/November in the Gregorian calendar). Homes, courtyards, and rooftops are commonly decorated with small oil lamps (called diyas). Rangoli, a form of colorful sand painting, adorns doorsteps.

Good morning all! It looks like a nice fall day here - an improvement from yesterday where it actually snowed for about 30 minutes. doh

I have an interview this morning, and then I think I'll grab a pumpkin spice latte and some lunch and watch a scary movie. Have a great day all! Later gator! giggle.gif

Blah. It is under 40 degrees and still raining here. Darn Nor'easter.

As for the game, I think Selig is an idiot and he got off the hook when the Rays tied it in the top of the 6th last night. I can agree with not wanting to end a World Series by a shortened game, but those are the rules. At the very least, the Rays should have had to play the field in the bottom of the sixth in the same conditions the Phillies had to play in the topof the inning which allowed the Rays to score the tying run. Seems a bit unfair. Any other game would have had the tarp on the field before the 5th. Don't tell me the field wasn't compromised. I would have hated to see anyone get hurt.

Hi all.  Brrrr....feels like a winter day here today; it's only 34 and it's snowing a little bit every so often.  bleh  I think it's time for me to start looking for a place to hibernate for the next 5 months.

Woo, hope everything goes well for your father-in-law tomorrow.

G-gal, good luck at your interview.
