I have a vision in my head right now.......JD sitting in his boxers basking in the glow from his oil lights when suddenly there's a deep rumbling sound followed by the most horrible stench. JD jumps up from his chair in a frantic search for his gas mask. He locates without a problem.....it was lying on the floor in the corner right where he always leaves it. He straps it on, continues spinning the tunes, glad no one else on the forum can smell that awful, eye-burning smell. He feels he better leave the gas mask on, believing in the age-old wisdom that there is always more where that came from.

lol I was kinda lying about that gas bomb, I just lost my point and figured go for the comedic end. I think I like what I've written so far. I'm afraid it might be boring though. I've got the first couple paragraphs up on Goodreads, but I've been told not to post the whole thing anywhere without making it password protected. In case I ever want to get it published, it has less of a chance of being picked up if it's been "published" on the web.

I don't know if I'll want to try to get it published, but I figure I shouldn't doom myself just in case. In December I'll put it up somewhere and give anyone interested the password. Right now, if you read it, you have to tell me it's wonderful. Otherwise I might not finish.

Oh no, you're encouraged to go over. I'm just afraid that I won't have the time after November, so I'll have to write even more before the end of the month.
