Good day all.

I love my cats, but sometimes they are a pain.  Last night Jack, my 12 pound cat, slept on my butt.  Consequently, my back is killing me this morning.

Luckily, today doesn't look too full.  It should be a good day.

I went to bed at around 7:30 last night. There was a hockey game on and I had hoped to fall asleep while watching it. I felt tired but my brain felt very awake. I started to drift in the 2nd period but not enough to sleep. During the 3rd period I got up and took some sleeping pills just as my hubby called me and told me that he was still deerless. It took awhile but I finally got some sleep. Of course now, I want to sleep more.

today I need to finish up payroll. I think I may leave at 4 today. I worked 15min over last night.

Oh and we won the game 4-0 biggrin

Hey, looks like former president George W went and got us a present as a thank you for all the years of caring... a "super tanker"! I think he feels bad for the high price of gas while in office.

Morning all.

Woo, I may have gotten sone of your sleep. Sorry about that. I developed a bad, bad headache yesterday afternoon. I took something to help dull the pain. After work, I stopped to get my haircut, got home, had dinner and was in bed by 9pm. I wanted to stay up, but the pain came back so I gave up. Slept well until about 4am. Then my body thought it was time to get up. I convincced it to go back to sleep until 6am. It agreed. I felt so much better. Now I am hoping that the headached doesn't come back. I already feel a twinge. I used the last of the Advil in my desk drawer yesterday and I forgot to bring some from home this morning "just in case".

Work on.

Howdy.

I had to hit the morning running. Nothing major, but lots of little work things have kept me busy this morning.

I ordered some new bass strings. UPS says they should deliver tomorrow, but tracking looks like they might be here today. I'll know for sure when it updates again. I'm trying a bigger, higher tension set to see if I like them better then my current light "soft" set. I want to be able to lower the strings closer to the fretboard so I need a higher tension string to be able to do that without the strings rattling against the frets. To stay in tune, higher tension = bigger string. Yeah, so now you know.

Ooooooooooooo Web is getting a new, sorta kinda toy. I want new bass strings. Maybe that will help me catch those pesky fish. Actually, I can get bass. I want to catch a trout. Do they make trout strings?

G'mornin' one and all.

That super tanker being pirated is ridiculous. C'mon, this is 20 men on a ship. Time to send some military hardware down to Somalia and start providing some deterrents for these jokers. It sounds like they're just running wild. Worse yet, apparently being a pirate pays! They said almost 50 million in ransoms have actually been paid this year! No wonder they keep doing it!

Fuzzy, sorry. I've been staying busy with stuff. You're all never far from my mind though. That should be evidence by the spam you receive wink.gif

Woo, I did come back and check your response later in the day. So I didn't completely run off.

Oh, and I stopped posting the sweeps of the day individually, but I'm trying to keep updating it in the FULL LISTING. I'm a few days behind though. I'm gonna try to catch up again today.

Hi all.  Another chilly day here but at least the sun's out. clap.gif  I was watching our local news this morning before I left for work and last night there were over 60 car crashes reported due to black ice on the roads.  When I dropped my daughter off at school this morning the roads were pretty slick yet most people still drove like a bunch of idiots.  I saw 5 cars slide off the road in front of me; 3 of them hit trees.  Wonder if it taught 'em they need to slow down a little bit.
