I am cooking for Sparky's family at our house. Hopefully everything turns out ok.

Do you roast your turkey breast up or down? My family always does it breast up but I have heard that breast down keeps it moist. Any input??

I'm goin to curly-sues aunts house for dinner. however, curly sue is pretty sick. If she is too sick to go, I will throw us together an emergency dinner for 2- like bbq turkey wings or sumthin.

We're going to my stepdad's side of the family for dinner, and Brian's side of the family for dessert. Then we're headed out early for the drive back home.

Since its just me and Norm and my mother we are ordering one of those pre made dinners that the supermarkets make. for around 40.00 you get the 10-12 pound turkey, stuffing, gravy, rolls, mashed potatoes, pie, and thats all we need. we always make more stuff tho like deviled eggs and this corn casserole that is simply FABULOUS!

When I was a little kid my grandmother used to refer to my friends as either my "girl" friend or my "boy" friend.

I'd get so mad when she'd ask if I was going outside to play with my boy friend. She didn't understand why. Or she did and she just liked to torture me. hmm.gif

That reminds me of an episode of Family Ties when the neighbor Skippy finds out he's adopted.

He finds his birth certificate and where the name should be it says "Baby Boy" so he thinks that's his name and demands that from now on everyone call him by his name Baby Boy Handleman.

Yeah, be careful. Fuzzy gets mad if you refer to her boyfriend as her boyfriend.

We were going to my brother's for the noon meal (dinner around these parts). Sunday my brother was sick so there were questions. Today, my sister-in-law called and he's still sick so they called off the meal.

Our extended family has a yearly Thanksgiving gathering so my dad and grandmother will now probably go to that. I just came from the grocery store. We're going to have fried chicken, taters, gravy, a veggie, and some cherry pie.

We'll just have our own little family meal here and avoid the flu house.

Crazy dinner at my house. Somewhere between 10 and 25 guests... I actually have no clue how many people will be here. After that if I am still conscious and able to walk, my friend Marissa is bartending at the happy hour place and suggested I should stop by to maybe watch the game or just to have a few.
