Everytime I turn on the news, Internet etc... "MUMBAI, India Teams of gunmen stormed luxury hotels, a popular restaurant, hospitals and a crowded train station in coordinated attacks across India's financial capital, killing at least 82 people, taking Westerners hostage and leaving parts of the city under siege Thursday, police said. A group of suspected Muslim militants claimed responsibility." We as a population are so messed up. I would love to but, I don't. So, what's wrong with me? Funny, I've been to anger management twice. (that's f-d up!)

Wish I knew what to tell you, Squonk. That is a fan-freakin-tastic question. Why do people kill in the name of God (or Allah, Buddah, or whatever you want to call your higher power of preference)? Every Diety I know of, regardless of name preaches peace and love. Every holy book has it in writing. It makes no sense to me.

Drugs, Money, "love" (not really) I feel truly blessed my son hasn't been involved with something bad. He's 23.

It is really cool that all of you people have been together through a lot of crap in the past few years. I've been around for maybe two and a half. JD, JR etc. it's goofy to most people but, you've been there for each other. I have a hard time getting my arms around it. JD makes me believe that it's valid. He's cool. I still wish I could meet Jer. When I go to MI in 2010 for the Olds Homecoming, I hope Ghost can be somewhere along the journey. I think my wife might be pretty cool with that. Thanks, Happy Holidays.

Some fine day, we should work a FFR weekend. It's always nice to put a face with a name and a personality. Doing what I do for a living, I have lots of friends all over the country that I have never met in person. Still, I always enjoy it when I get the chance to.

Squonk, I'd love to hook up with you and Mrs. Squonk when you get to MI! Lansing isn't that far away from me.....less than a 2 hour drive. When the time comes, let me know the "where's and when's" and I'll be there!!!

Other than Ray, who I've met (and still owe a drink to), Mema, I think either you and Pambo, or TN Gal, are the next closest people to me. Maybe sometime we could meet halfway, it would only be about a 2 hour drive for each of us. The problem is, what's there in the middle of Illinois?
Middle of Illinois is probably about 4 or 5 hours away from us, but perhaps someday we will work that out. Pambo and I were actually talking about maybe taking a trip up north this next summer. She has family in Wisconsin. I'm sure we could figure out a detour.

Clearly sir, you have never been to Kansas. We are way more conservative than Nebraska AND we have wheat fields here, not so much on the corn. Important distinctions.

Off on a tangent but, a lot more pleasant/fun. Compliments. Bloomington/Normal or Chicago seems like semi central FFR. (excluding the UK and Australia)

I think the guys might have been trying to suggest there is something wrong with us for not living up north. Still sort of on tangent. There is definitely something wrong with Dylan for thinking I'm cute. Nothing new glasses couldn't fix.
