I didn't get much sleep last night, I didn't make it to the gym as planned this morning, and the four-letter-s-word is falling from the sky. And it doesn't appear that we have tunes. At least I have Starbucks.
yep it is indeed Monday. I could have used the snow day but we have work today. The roads weren't bad though. I just felt like being lazy. It is a pay week so I must get stuff done for that. Oh I got my Supernatural Season 2 set while I was gone. So far so good. There is a small spot that broke in the packaging but I believe that is from a faulty design. Now I am waiting for Season 1 to show. I see from the tracking that it is in MI so I should see it soon. I'm still pleased that it only cost me $40 for both.

I have to say that my few days off were nice, mainly because I didn't think about work. I got some stuff around the house done as well as a little Christmas shopping.
This morning simply reminded me that I don't like coming into work everyday. Yeah, I know, shocker.
I think I feel an early beverage coming on today. Work on.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I haven't been around for the past couple weeks. Things in my world have not been well. If I'm not being antagonized by one of my children, I'm being tortured by one of the others. This time it's pretty bad so bad that I'm humiliated to show my face (so to speak). I can usually roll with the punches, but this time it's really hard. I'll try to stop by as I can; eventually, I'll be more regular again (that sounded like I'm waiting for the fiber to kick in)...
I really miss everyone, and think about y'all all the time. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.
Smiles everyone...

Morning all! It's definitely a Monday. Vacation over... back in the office. I didn't really miss it. Nice to see the gang, but I could be happy going home.
D.S... Nice to see you, even if only briefly. Best wishes to you with the kids. I hope they get past whatever they are up to soon. The teen years can be a bear. I remember them well with my boys. It does eventually get better, though it may not seem like it now.

I love the snow, but I sure wish it could stay off my car. Plus the beautiful interior gets all screwed up with the slush you track in on your shoes.
Station is back up for anyone who didn't realize it. I just got back from my Mom's house where sure enough, the entire computer was off because of the short power outages last night.
I added the new single from the Killers this weekend. I'm kind of pumped about their new album. They took an 80's synth-pop angle on it and the first four songs I listened to are pretty cool.
Hey JR - what happened to enjoying not much of a heating bill in NC this winter. Maybe skipping one season of snow would have been worth an extended stay.
By the way, I couldn't remember exactly where you were in NC and when you left. I was watching the Travel channel last night and watched a show called BBQ Paradise. Apparently there is a hugh BBQ festival in Lexington in October. I thought that is where you were located. But I thought you had moved home by then. Everything looked so good I wanted to drool. But I don't suppose if you were still in NC or you would have attended. I am sure you would have informed us if you had.

I know Fuzz, part of me REALLY wanted to enjoy ONE snow-free winter. Yet at the same time there's something so cool about the piles of snow, that even though I hadn't missed any I was already getting nostalgic for it. Deep down the kid in me still loves it
The BBQ festival was shortly after I left. I watched videos of it from the Lexington newspaper. Looked pretty cool. They even had some big name country singers perform there.
Can you believe the entire time I was there I never tried BBQ even ONCE! And I lived across the road from one of their most popular Barbecue joints, the Lexington BBQ.

So many things to try. And who doesn't enjoy pork spare ribs?

Hi guys. I had the day off work; schools were closed due to snow. I just got my internet service back up about 20 minutes ago. We had quite a few short power outages last night and early this morning, but there are a lot of people here in Saginaw who lost power completely and still don't have it back. We got a big, wet, heavy snow which brought down a lot of power lines. Only saving factor is that because the snow was so wet, we didn't get as much as they predicted; still got about 6 inches on the ground though. I'm with JD.....winter bites; I'm already tired of scraping windows, brushing snow off the car, and snowblowing.
Sandy, sorry to hear you were one with power troubles. We didn't have any, unless you want to count my computer acting as if it were possessed , but I don't think that was linked to weather. Laptop was fine.
