And it was raining on my way to work. Rain + 30° = Ice I slid past the entrance to Brian's work and had to turn around.

I am here. yawn
I feel pretty run down even though I don't think I moved once I fell asleep last night. hmm

My cards are almost done. I need to get some envelopes and stamps though.

My husband's back is continuing to bother him. I'm not sure what more I can do. His lower back is an issue and there is spot higher up on his back that feels like a knot but now we are wondering if it is a cyst. He has had them before and had to have one cut out in his leg. We are gonna try and ice it and see if the size changes.

Morning all. Well my home is all ready for Christmas. I am gonna be busy cause graduation is Saturday, but I am excited for Saturday to come for a better reason. My dad's sisters and their husbands are coming to visit me when I am done working. They are older, so I am glad to see them when I can. They all live in NY. Their visit is gonna be short, but I have no family locally, so I am gonna cherish every second with them!

Mornin'

Oh man, I slept really poorly last night. Weird, nightmarish dreams, had to get up once for myself, once for the dog, waking up hot and sweaty several times, ugh.

I'm waiting to see what happens (if anything) this morning. I have a site on the same server as FFR that sells bath products. They are doing a promo on a Denver TV station. I'm waiting to see what kind of response it causes. If enough people try to hit their site at once, it could crash or tie up all the server's resources for a bit until it slows back down. I've had these warnings before and they have turned out to be non-events so all I can do is wait and see. All I know is that its some time this morning.

Ah, the heater under my desk feels good this morning.

Good morning everyone.  I'm at home today; think I might have the flu....body aches, fever, sore throat, coughing, and chills.  I guess it's better to have it now than at the holidays.  I'm hoping my oldest girl will be out of school in enough time to pick up her sister on her way home so I won't have to go out today.

Morning all. It seems to be turning into one of those days. Late Friday afternoon started to turn that way. I seem to have issues with FL and TX this month. I have to dig deep to see if I can figure out what is going on in the depths of the cycle. Fun. Can't wait until the boss calls and says, "Where is it?"

oh it was really good ruby! you'd think on a sunday night they might just go through the motions, but they really put on a great show. great sound, good lights, Chris Robinson played guitar too and even took a solo. a lot of fun.smile.gif

maranda is graduated; now to get through her other issues... she needs to just move back home so she can get her head on straight...

looks like we're expecting rain and flurries tomorrow; but last year at this time we were dealing with an ice storm...

It's a mixed bag of weather day for me today. On the drive in this morning it was cloudy and 47 degrees, supposed to top out in the low 50's... then a rain/snow mix tonight. weirdface.gif It's always interesting this time of year to see how many seasons we can have in one day.

On the up side, my former boss came by a while ago and implied that there are some changes afoot that might make us all happy. If I read that right, he might be my again boss. That would ROCK! He's a great guy to work for. smile.gif

Sorry you are not feeling well, Ghost. Hope that passes quickly.

It looks like the TV event was a non event. I a little extra activity on the server, but certainly nothing to cause any issue what so ever. Yay!


My wife is having a bad day at work. She got her butt chewed by a customer over some bank trust stuff. Before it was over, the branch president was involved and he looked over what she did and he told the customer that in this case the customer is not always right. That still wasn't good enough for the customer he had to call his lawyer to be satisfied. The lawyer also told the guy that she was right and that it was their mistake they didn't have all necessary info on their paperwork.

It was bad enough that she had to go through that with the guy but then he couldn't muster up the nads to say he was sorry for rippin' on her when she was the one who was right.

Stoopid customers.

That is when Mrs. Web should be allowed to then rip into this customer for a while. Seems fair. And it'll make her feel a little better.
