According to The Weather Channel, it's 32 degrees this morning, with a projected high of 34, and 80% chance of rain and snow. I have yet to look outside.

Sounds like I have an ice rink to look forward to at some point today.

Good morning everyone. I'm still not feeling well so I'm at home again today. We are under a winter storm warning for the entire day......they say 10-11 inches of snow but the snow could also switch over to freezing rain for a while before changing back to all snow. bleh

I gave my youngest girl a day off from school today.....our schools are open but I don't want to have to go out in this crap later this afternoon to pick her up. Right now I'm her hero.

Hope all of you that are experiencing nasty weather today stay safe on the roads!!!

I have been up since 4. I read Woman's Day and drank two cups of coffee, lifted weights, took Ruby for a 25 minute jog and got to work by 8:30. I will be here for 12 hours probably, if not longer.

So far we have only got the rain but our roads are not too bad. I think we are supposed to get some snow though.

Right now I am trying to rack my brain to come up with something nice to say about our Exec Director for the Christmas video. First i hate even my picture being taken let alone video. Plus I don't like her. It doesn't help that I found out this morning that she opened some of hubby's inter-office mail like he is hiding something. furious

It's raining and dark here today too. Luckily, it sounds like it won't freeze too hard. The low for tonight is 35. Then again, the high for tomorrow is 38. :/

I have a hurry-up-rush job this morning and the only material I was given for it is a PowerPoint presentation. But after that, I'll hopefully have a pretty light day.

I'm still at home and the boy's still in bed. We have a 10:00am start for school today.

We don't have a lot of snow, but everything is covered and the streets are a little slick. Its 15 degrees with a stiff, cold wind. Our high is supposed to be 24. Yuck.

Good morning all! It's still snowing here, but Milwaukee isn't getting hit as bad as areas northwest of the main city. I decided to brave it and drive to work, and it was not bad at all - even if a bit slow. I kinda wish I could go for a walk in the snow while it's still warm enough to do so.

Ghost, I hope you feel better soon. Take some Zicam and curl up with a good book!

Yup, it's true, the big storm of '08 never really happened. Seems like every year the first big snowstorm is just an over-reaction by the forecasters.

This time though I think it just is a matter of us being on the edge of the storm. North of us was hit pretty hard.

Looks like my area will only get 3" from this. I'm not complaining

Good to hear that Milwaukee is getting a break.

The freezing rain just started here as I was getting to the office. It's very windy too!

Woo... You could say something like "I find her inquisitiveness intriguing." Sounds like a positive, without really saying anything all that nice.

I got the boy delivered to school and came on out to the office. Not much snow, but it is VERY slick. The antilocks were growling almost every time I had to use the brakes. I do love all wheel drive, in this stuff.
