Oh I got my gift today!

Just like the last the last two years, I have put it away. I did not even look to see the postmark. Also, like the last two years I will wait til Xmas morning, cause it will be my only gift that is a surprise and probably with the most thought.

But I feel like a heel. I have not bought my gift yet! I know what I want, but I have been too busy to get it. I will have it in the mail by Monday though I promise.

Getting this gift today made all the poop I went through this week vanish though.smile I love FFR is all I can say!aww

I have had ideas swirling through my head for a while now, but haven't narrowed it down or bought the gift yet. That is on my Saturday list of things to do.

I wonder if it seems sad that this gift seems to be the one I am most excited about shopping for or delivering.

It's not sad. It's really cool to think about making somebody's day. I had a lot of fun picking out my Secret Santa present... went to a store I had never been to before because I knew they would have the right thing, spent quite a while looking at all the options before deciding. REALLY hoping the recipient will like what I picked. smile.gif

I do agree with Ruby though. The time I participated I waited until Christmas Day to open mine. I put it under the tree.

This sants has already bought herself her gift this year. I don't think I will wrap it though. And since I am not doing the tree this year, I have it set next to the ceramic tree. Maybe I will put a bow on it.

smile.gif I bought me a present last year and wrapped it. It was my first Christmas waking up alone in the house. That wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. I haven't bought me an acutal present this year so far.

I agree, I loved being able to buy something for someone that brings me joy, friendship and I feel like I know them better than most of my family!

Hehehehe... I'll definitely look forward to the surprise. I knew I got me a necklace last year, so that wasn't so much of a surprise... except I bought it in October, so I had kind of forgotten what it looked like. I had a lot more fun watching the cats play with their new toys on Christmas morning.

I haven't gotten the stockings out just yet. I did notice this morning that the tree has magically moved about 2 feet from where I originally put it. Now it is much closer to the fire place. I think perhaps it's a furry little hint that they are getting excited about the prospect of Santa's arrival.
