We had a fairly nice day yesterday, but it was windy.

We're no where cold as Web, but we're currently at the high for today, it's raining, and the temperature isn't supposed to do anything but drop. It would've been a good day to stay inside with hot cocoa.

I think we started out at 50 and are going down to 9 degrees? It's currently 34.

The Christmas party weekend was good. There was some drama but isn't there always? Slept like poo. I also slept very little last night so I am a zombie. My husband was very dreamy last night, he suspects the alcohol in his system was playing havoc on him. The 2 things I remember him telling me about was a dream about war and then a dream about being possessed. The possession one just made me laugh. We didn't even watch a scary movie or Supernatural. We were at his parents house and he had to go into the crawl space. This is where he would get possessed. He said it felt real and that it felt like this had been happening every time someone would go in there. Anyway this time he was able to fight long enough to let us know what was happening. That was all he told me. I'm wondering how did we stop the possession? Did I have to fumble through Latin or something? lol

Anyways this Friday I won't be around I think. We are having our consumer Christmas party off-site.

Cold is most certainly the topic of the day around here. its -11 now but at least the wind stopped blowing. Its even colder up Ally and Sparky way.

I just saw a Twitter post from a guy in this area that said he had to take his kids to a stalled bus so they could be there to get on another bus. The first one had the diesel gel up and won't run.

We should invite Al Gore to come give a speech on global warming today.

Morning all. Today we have sunshine (for now since the rain is due to roll in later) and about 60 degrees right now. I saw all that cold air in the midwest and you all can keep it.

Darlene gald to see you are surviving the ice storm that was up your way.

Other than that it is Monday and I seem to be extra busy. Fun.

Late check in... I guess our temp of 17 is a heatwave compared to Web and Ally/Sparky; therefore I will keep my complaints under my breath. Yesterday Tulsa metro was 75 -- that's right, summer.

Barely escaped it.... the ice storm hit hard to the north of me, about 40 miles up.

Our temp number is getting smaller, but that is a good thing in this case.

We're up to -8 now! w00t.gif

If we keep going, we just may hit that expected high of +4 yet.

Thank you for reminding me why I live in the desert. I could not handle the cold you are getting. I think I am freezing here. We have a front moving in and the high is supposed to be only 59 maybe 60. Our mornings in in the high thirties. So, I guess I cannot complain.

I had to turn on my ac today. It is in the 70s. Emily has strep throat and scarlet fever. I am home at least three days which is gonna KILL me at work since we are off for two weeks next week. But I will deal. Emily threw up all over me at walmart. That is the third time since Saturday! I'll be back after we lay down. Oh yeah and Duane had to take the boy in school today. He would not tell us why, but unlucky for him I could not drive him. Duane called me to tell me that the boy has been late or left early 18 times for his online class. If he misses again although he is passing, he will fail. Do you think they thought to tell me after 2 ot 3 times? EIGHTEEN TIMES. If he fails because he gets sick and has to miss school, they are going to hear from me. It's Monday right?

Glad I don't live where Web or Sparky and AC do!  Dang that's cold!!  I feel like we're in the middle of heatwave compared to their temps....it's 17, wind chill is 2.  We're getting the winds some of you had yesterday....25 mph with gusts up to 50!  I came home from work and found someone's Christmas wreath in my driveway.  Since there's a big field and the high school to the left across the street from me I have no idea who it could belong to.

I thought we need a certain temp to stay alive. If you have no temperature, I was worried you would have a big problem on your cold hands.
