Freeze Frame testemonials?

Here is an idea I've been thinking about- to update the main Freeze Frame Radio main web- page with either a new section or a link to community forum member testimonials. This would be a chance for community forum members to get creative, have fun, be funny, and introduce new visitors to the station/website via the good Freeze Frame Radio has been to them.

For example, JD, long-time listener and part-time dj from Milwaukee, WI says "Before I tuned into Freeze Frame Radio, I had to build my own teeth out of bricks each day; I had a house made out of dental floss, and a car made out of bologna. Now I have real teeth, a house made out of bricks that once were my teeth, and 2 cars made out of bologna. THANK YOU, FREEZE FRAME RADIO!!

Or, if there is some genuine real good that the station has become to you, we could use that as well, as a more convincing argument....

"I am William from Detroit. Before I discovered Freeze Frame Radio, I had to listen to the loud innane sounds of the idiots at work. Now I simply log on, throw on my earphones, and its like the idiots have been repelled. My productivity has increased by 80%, I am much happier, and I like the jazz on Sunday evenings too!"

Or even "I really like that Riggs is there during my work-day. He's fun, the music is fun, the community forum is fun, and being able to request songs automatically ROCKS!!!"

Something to think about??

JD

I can't get reception in my office to listen to my local radio stations, so I tried my own CDs for a while.  I ran through those pretty fast, and settled for internet radio, but I had it muted half the time because I didn't like the songs.  And then I found Freeze Frame Radio.  Freeze Frame Radio has the best of both worlds: as an internet radio station, there's no commericals and it's convenient; but it also has a live DJ, contests, and best of all, a request system!

I love you Freeze Frame Radio, will you marry me?

Not as funny as I would like, but I haven't had my coffee yet.  You should be able to get something out of that, right?

I was tired of listening to all those hum drum stations that played the same 20 songs over and over again. Freeze Frame Radio has brought a permanent smile to my face. My co-workers think I'm taking way too many happy pills and my clients can't believe there accounts. My production level has gone up and  commisions too. Time to throw out my old leisure suit I got at the Salvation Army...I'm going all out this time....Plaid two piece from the Boys Club Thrift store should do!

Hello all,

This is Jeremy, under cover of the anonymous moniker.

I'm in the Forum Witness Relocation Program until I can decide on my new title.  I feel a tremendous amount of pressure to come up with something good, because I know if I dont' I'll hear it from Mo for the next six months or more!

Anyway, to answer a few things, J.D., I actually AM a golfer, or, was, I used to golf all the time until I was about 24, then I kind of fell out of it because the cost of 18 holes was just getting insane and I wasn't making any money.

I imagine it's like a bike though, I'm sure I could get right back on.  I'd probably hit the trash cans a couple times, maybe scrape an elbow, but I'd be ok.

As for THIS idea, I love it, it would be great for first-time visitors to the site to see what our listeners think.  Perhaps one per month could be rotated to the top of the site, with a link to MORE TESTIMONIALS

I love the idea of serious ones mingled in with crazy ones like the one you came up with.

ROCK ON!

Before I joined Freeze Frame, I was a boring middle aged disco queen trying to recapture my youth. I found freeze frame and met a group of people who enjoyed the music that I do. I now enjoy this Forum soooooo much that I have now become the appointed Chef of the Forum and lover of all things Jazz. Now I am a dancing Disco Queen!!!!

The Djs and members are boodles of fun.
