I slept for 7 hours last night! It still took me until 11 to get to sleep, I really expected to fall asleep on the couch, but I guess I was too engrossed with Cyrano de Bergerac.
Morning all. I am feeling like crap this morning, there is another lady here that is feeling bad too. Our office does not get cleaned very good and we both suspect that is the reason we feel bad. The two weeks I was off my sinuses were fine and no allergies, three days back and I am coughing, sore throat, runny nose and eyes.
My night sucked and my idiot husband is blaming it on my thyroid- not the other issues going on in my house. Must be nice to have a scapegoat to blame other than himself. Only I am not so naive. My thyroid is fine, it is my heart that is breaking.
Just got to my work desk. Spent the 1st 30 min being trained in the main office. My husband changed forms on me and I had to learn the new.
I was 50/50 pleased about People's Choice Awards last night. Not happy that they didn't even air the sci-fi category when it was a new one! Sci-fi gets no love! Before that I got caught up on the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

What did you think? I hope it doesn't get cancelled.
I assume this season is done? I occasionally check Hulu but no new ones have been posted for a few weeks now.
really liking it! The Riley thing is annoying me though. I heard it was coming back Feb on Fridays to finish Season 2 but I have not heard if it will be renewed for a season 3.

I didn't have a good sleep night. I think I saw almost every hour of the morning. Couldn't get comfy. It all had to do with the boy laying next to me. He was in the way and dead to the world. He needed to move over and didn't budge. You shouldn't have sleepovers on a school night. I don't know why I let him hang around. Anyway, now I am going to try to ignore my tiredness and get some work done.

When my husband and I first moved in together, we were sleeping in my twin bed. We had it pushed against the wall, and I slept on the wall side. So when he was taking up too much of the bed, I could put my back against him and push my feet against the wall to move him over. Sometimes I wish I could still do that.
He hasn't been sleeping very well either. He crashed last night. He slept like a rock. Couldn't get him to move. I was on the edge of my side and I had trouble settling in. Every time I rolled over I bumped into him. Didn't phase him. He says he didn't feel a thing all night. I should have known better. I sleep so much better when I am by myself. I don't usually let him stay during the week. But he was being extra pathetic and since he didn't have to be up until 6 today, I let him stay. Normally he is up between 4:30 and 5. Waaaayyyy to early for me.

Morning all! I'm glad it is WFH Thursday for me because I overslept. I'd be upset about it, but I haven't been sleeping enough lately. I'm genuinely not sure how I would do with having another person sleeping next to me again. It's been a very long time since that happened so I'm used to sleeping all over a king sized bed.
Need too cruise downstairs and get some caffeine.

Ruby woke me up four times last night- she has had diarrhea for a couple of days and she wanted to go out and then come back in. Man oh man, she is smart, but I am tired too!

My dog got me up at 3:30 needing out. So I got up and let her out. Then she came back in and went over to "treat corner" (the corner cabinet where her treats are kept), whined, and looked at me like "Cookie?". Sorry dog, no rewards for getting me up at 3:30.
Sounds like not sleeping well was a trend last night. I had a horrible night. Couldn't fall asleep until about 4 AM. Just one of those nights where it seemed like there was no comfortable way to lay in the bed. I guess laying that chain link fence on top of it wasn't a very good idea
Anyway, I'm finally mailing my taxes today. They got held up by the stupidest of things, I had no paperclips. They don't want you to staple em', and I didn't want to risk sending em' in loose. So I had to run to the store and get some paperclips. Now they should be ready to mail off.
Hi all. I think I've resolved the computer issues I was having. My daughter's boyfriend is kind of a computer geek and he came over, installed a program he uses, and voilla.....all the baddies are gone. So far it seems to be working just fine! Looks like I won't have to format the hard drive after all.
I woke up thinking today was Friday. I was so disappointed to find out it was only Thursday. First week back to work after the holidays, and my butt is dragging. I can't wait for this work week to end!!!

That's funny. When me and the future Mrs Squonk were dating, my son was only 14 months old. I had a studio apartment and a twin bed. The crib of course was in the same room. (given there was only one room!) So, when she would sleep over... you guessed it, me and her on the twin, the boy right there in the crib! Now, it's a queen pillow top, bla bla bla.
