I actually start this evening ruby.
they actually encourage people to bring in their ipods etc to crank tunes as you crank on the work, but I don't think I'll have a reason to be on a computer there. I could be wrong. Basically I'm just runnin a 10 key punch system.

 Hopefully, it's not "just" compensation. Pain = listen to music if you want. Definitely don't want the mellow or classical stuff.

in a while once I am trained and they set me free heck yea. it seems like some james brown would be appropriate listening.

get this, they do have ipods that you can use already there if you want! lol except in addition to whatever music the bank decides to put on there, there is audio training material, ceo speeches and crap like that on there too. how funny is that?smile.gif

so ya, I'll be using my mp3 player...smile.gif

Somebody mark the date! JD is in full swing with modern technology! giggle.gif Seriously, that's pretty cool that they encourage you to play your music and even provide iPods...even if the selection is less than optimal.

lol the proofing machines are relics from what looks to be the early 80s tho. and they are still hooked up to green-screen IBM mainframe computers which tally the data. biggrin.gif
