I am planning on having a bowling party for Emily on February 7th- you are all invited! She has never bowled and it has been a while for me, but I know we will have fun! I did do bowling on a friend's Wii- that is FUN!

I haven't bowled in about 5 or 6 years.  Last time was when I was a Girl Scout leader and we had all night bowling lock-ins with all the other troups.

We went bowling for a friend's bachelorette party. But it was a weird kind of bowling with smaller balls. But it was fun.

Before that, it's been a couple years. My arm was so sore the next day!

um every other Sunday. Bowl again this Sunday

um niece turns 21 on the 6th so may not be up for bowling the next day

I think its been about 9 yrs. did a casual work bowling league thing years ago. we all sucked so we all stopped showing up. I dunno. It kinda hurt my thumb. But I don't feel like I'm missing too much....

I used to love the Rock n Bowl one of our alleys did on Saturday nights.  Bowling didn't start until midnight, they'd turn off all the lights, and have flashing neons on the pins while pumping out some great tunes.  That was a blast!!!

If memory serves me, it was in November of 1986. I went with my sister. She was still drunk from the night before. I had a REALLY bad hangover. It was not pretty.

It has been a few years, maybe three. Unless you count bowling on the PS2. Then it may only be a year or so.

I want to get our friends together to go. But coordinating friends like that is difficult.

But you have to play bumper bowling. That way everyone averages are better. You can get some good strikes by intentionally bouncing the ball off the bumpers at the right spot.

That was just the problem. I remember throwing the ball, then clutching my head and curling up on the floor in a fetal position. Some guy came by and said something about "no overhand bowling" and that I need to bowl my lane only. We left. I've had no desire to go again. hmm.gif

I was forced to bowl & play mini-golf in NUMEROUS Team Building events in the past few years. I hate bowling. I hate mini-golfing. I hate team builders...unless I can get drunk & I get to pick the team I'm building with.

The only bowling involved team builder I remember was that one at Incredi-Bowl where you, me, and Gabbert got liquored up and played arcade games until we had a billion tickets to go buy dumb stuff with at the prize shop. That was fun though!

A group of us from work bowled very week during the summer months this past summer. Had a great time....got my first 200 game and averaged about 175!

I still bowl on a league. bowll about a 160 or so if I am on a Roll.
Every monday its the Lamda Bowling league with about 70 guys and Gals ( more guysbiggrin.gif) and we have fun. There is a guy on my team that can bowl a 280 at the drop of a hat but has bowled a few 300s to.

I dont do them very often except when I can afford them but the Annual bowling Tournament is Memorial Day weekend. Over 60 bowlers from across the US will be here in OK.

We got a Wii for Christmas. I haven't bowled on it yet either. I guess all bowling just gives me the heebie jeebies.

I can twirl the heck out of a hula hoop on my Wii Fit though.biggrin.gif
