Hey Ghost.

smile.gif

I saw you watched han**** last night and thought it was just ok. I agree.

Actually I found it to be a fairly interesting story until they got to the part where Charleze Theron was a superhero too. Then it just got stupid.

Oh well. They can't all be winners.

Oh, and by the way...

Score one for you!!! Ya got me! laughing.gif

Yeah, I agree about the movie......once I found out she was a superhero too it got stupid.  But I figured they knew each other somehow when the husband brought him home and introduced them.  The little kid did a good job acting though; he was pretty stoked to have a superhero visit his house. smile

I always actually get annoyed at a movie like that. They could have had something really good on their hands but blew it.

I thought you'd like the variation on the "cram it". smile.gif

Especially considering it was Will Smith.  I usually like his movies, well except for I Robot, didn't care too much for that one either.

I think that's why I haven't gone to the movies in a long time; there just hasn't been that much coming out that looks very good.  Even the newest Batman movie was a let down I thought.  Granted, Heath Ledger was great as the Joker, but the actual movie wasn't all that great.

I enjoyed THE DARK KNIGHT, but you're right, it's not the film I expected. It was very good but not what I would consider to be blockbuster material. Without a doubt though Ledger did the best version of the Joker that I've ever seen. He was great. And I was NOT a fan of Heath's before he died.

Lately it seems like all the movies suck. I get about three Netflix movies a week, always looking forward to the new releases, I'm almost always disappointed.

I hear that.

Hey, what's been happening in Ghost Hunters??  I haven't seen it since September.  Have there been any good episodes?

You know what, I haven't been watching hmm.gif

The combination of their goofy schedule (what do they have, like five seasons a year each about 5 episodes long?) and my living situation, I just haven't been able to keep up.

Once I get settled in a new place I'm sure I'll start catching up again.

Yeah, their new season shows are always really short in episodes, but I do miss watching it. I'll have to youtube it and see what's been going on.

laughing.gif  Some ghost hunters we are.....we don't even watch it anymore to get new tips.

I know!

I was talking to Web the other day though. I'm hoping to take a trip out there in fall of this year to meet him. He was telling me that his wife once found a dead dude in the local hotel! She was cleaning there and the guy had hung himself!

That could be the first one! I'm booking room 32 when I go to Broken Bow, Nebraska! clap.gif

Hey, great to hear you're planning to go visit him!!smile

Man, I bet his wife wasn't too happy to find that. cry

But yeah, you and Web could do a trial run on the place. biggrin Gotta keep Web away from the popcorn though so you can try to listen for noises.

You're our video guy, you gotta be in the van nod.gif

Alone.

By yourself.

In the dark van.

Alone.

On the cold dark night of the investigation.

By yourself.

Alone.

Speaking of which, I wanted to get us this van for our Ghost Hunters club.  It's $28,000 but I'm a little short.  Can anyone pitch in the last $27,980?

laughing.gif  Wouldn't that just be the coolest thing to have for our Ghost Hunter trips???  I can pitch in $20, so we only need another $27,960.

By the way JR, if your mini van looked like this one, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have any problem picking up chicks!  The Mystery van definitely isn't a soccer mom mini van. biggrin

Will Smith is "stretching" it these days. I can only handle so many muscular  young black guy comes back and kicks ass movies.

It's like Rambo. Da, he's gunna kick butt. But first, I need to get in touch with why I want to kick butt. Barf.

It seems like there just aren't that many original movie ideas anymore. I figured Han**** looked like a "wait for it to be on cable". The new Batman I'd kind of like to see at the theater, but it hasn't been meaningful enough for me to go.
