Yeah, I agree about the movie......once I found out she was a superhero too it got stupid. But I figured they knew each other somehow when the husband brought him home and introduced them. The little kid did a good job acting though; he was pretty stoked to have a superhero visit his house.
Especially considering it was Will Smith. I usually like his movies, well except for I Robot, didn't care too much for that one either.
I think that's why I haven't gone to the movies in a long time; there just hasn't been that much coming out that looks very good. Even the newest Batman movie was a let down I thought. Granted, Heath Ledger was great as the Joker, but the actual movie wasn't all that great.
I enjoyed THE DARK KNIGHT, but you're right, it's not the film I expected. It was very good but not what I would consider to be blockbuster material. Without a doubt though Ledger did the best version of the Joker that I've ever seen. He was great. And I was NOT a fan of Heath's before he died.
Lately it seems like all the movies suck. I get about three Netflix movies a week, always looking forward to the new releases, I'm almost always disappointed.
The combination of their goofy schedule (what do they have, like five seasons a year each about 5 episodes long?) and my living situation, I just haven't been able to keep up.
Once I get settled in a new place I'm sure I'll start catching up again.
I was talking to Web the other day though. I'm hoping to take a trip out there in fall of this year to meet him. He was telling me that his wife once found a dead dude in the local hotel! She was cleaning there and the guy had hung himself!
That could be the first one! I'm booking room 32 when I go to Broken Bow, Nebraska!
Wouldn't that just be the coolest thing to have for our Ghost Hunter trips??? I can pitch in $20, so we only need another $27,960.
By the way JR, if your mini van looked like this one, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have any problem picking up chicks! The Mystery van definitely isn't a soccer mom mini van.
It seems like there just aren't that many original movie ideas anymore. I figured Han**** looked like a "wait for it to be on cable". The new Batman I'd kind of like to see at the theater, but it hasn't been meaningful enough for me to go.
