I did indeed win the $100 bet. I am sorry to have to say that. The Eagles looked soooooo bad the first half plus there were some bad calls. The defense did not play like themselves, made stupid plays and McNabb did play like himself at the start of the game. I don't know why he throws such ugly passes during their first couple of possessions. Somehow they got going and didn't allow any second half points until that late touchdown. Warner didn't make any mistakes that our defense is very good on capitalizing. If the defense played the first half like the scond half, the Eagles maybe could have won the game. Oh well. It's done.

I still maintain that with their year, they did not deserve to make the playoffs. Everyone knows some how they squeezed into the playoffs. I would have like to see a PA superbowl. A chance to follow up a baseball championship with a football championship would have been cool.

Now all my concentration can go into the hockey season. Go Flyers!

Dude, that was years ago. Get over it. Apparently your team was no better. How'd that new guy work out for you this year? You had your chance last year to get to your next superbowl last year with Favrw and you blew it. And I would have even rooted for your team.

I'm not sure you understand the concept of a curse. You don't "get over it", it lasts until I die. That's just the way it is.

You have lots of superbowls. You would think that at least once you would let us have one. We have championships, but they were all before the superbowl began so no one ever counts them. I would like to see one championship in each major sport in my lifetime. And have a chance to remember them. We have plenty of minor championships and no one recognizes them either.

Flyers - 1974, 1975 - the first to celebrate my arrival into this wonderful world and the second to celebrate my first birthday. That was way to early for me to know about sports.

Phillies - 1980 - I was 6 so I didn't really know it or remember it now. But that has been remedied by the 2008 championship.

Sixers - 1983 - I was 9 so I didn't really know it or remember it. But then again, I don't pay too much attention to basketball. I wouldn't mind them winning again though.
