 I find myself at home again today, my eldest got sent home from school about half an hour after she got there... i ronically i almost booked today off to go to a funeral but decided against it.
It is sunny today but we did have a torrential downpour earlier but the sun has won...for now.
My thoughts today are with Dylan,

Morning all. I just woke up and made the 2 minute jaunt to "work from home". I'm stunned, shocked and saddened to read about Dylan's mom. tears.gif Not much else I can say right now.

At work. I was very tired and slept pretty hard last night. I think my body is preparing or fighting the flu. If I follow the pattern then I should be sick Fri night if I'm going to get sick. I hope not!

Good day all. We've got 2 people out of our 5 person office today, so it'll either be crazy or it'll be quiet. I'm hoping for quiet.

Well, after not having hives or swelling at all yesterday, I decided to wear jewelry today. It's so nice to be wearing my rings again, it felt so wrong without them.

Thinking of Dylan and sending him some strength today.

I can only imagine the grief Dylan is going through right now. cry.gif


I have a funeral to attend this morning here. No one super close, but a "neighbor" I've known all my life. He lived three miles from us the whole time I was growing up. In the city, that is a long way, but where we lived, there were no other houses between us and him on that road. He was a customer of my wife's work too so she's going with me.

Gotta push through another day.

I'm just stunned too. I met Dylan's ma just briefly at JR's dads funeral, and in a few moments could tell she was a very nice thoughtful person. a total ma. Thoughts and Prayers for Dylan to be strong right now. Happy warm memories for him of both his parents.

so sad, not a good day.
2009 is not starting out as great as I had hoped.

Thoughts are w/ Dylan.

My house went under agreement last Friday, however the pipes burst and I had a foot of water and the house is damaged now. I have to wait for the water restoration people to come do a quote for repairs, hire a plumber and deal w/ the insurance adjustors.... not good.
