Eh, for some reason I could barely drag myself out of bed this morning. If I didn't own a dog I'd probably have stayed under the covers another 2 hours.

A neighbor up the street who goes to our church stopped with his little tractor and blade and pushed the snow off our driveway. Thanks, Marty!

I swept the rest of the snow off what he couldn't get to, then drove through Runza for lunch.

In an hour or so, I'll go to the church and pick up our food co-op box.

We didn't get to sleep until almost 2:30am. So, yes, we slept in. Still in jams, we watched some MeTV. I taped a pile of stuff the other day. Get Smart, Lost In Space, etc.
Dinner at a friend's place tonight.
It's freakin' cold outside. What's up with that?
Grilled burgers last night. Yum. Shot pool with the neighbors, hung out in the gazebo until we were all doing double vision. Weew. I'm getting too old for all that. hmm

I apparently had high hopes of doing NOTHING today.

Finally drug it out of the bed and went downstairs to feed the cats. Somehow I ended up cleaning my fridge. Not just wiping it out... I mean moving it out of the fridge cubby hole and cleaning all around the outside of it, the floor, taking the back off to clean the gunk off the air intake.... I don't know why.

Tomorrow maybe I'll take stuff over to the recycling center.

Yep... life really is that exciting for me!

Mema, can I have some of your motivation?

I have a sink full of dishes. I need to put them in the dishwasher. Sure, the kitchen needs cleaned, the floor needs mopped, but putting the dishes in the dishwasher will be a stretch.

Sure! Though I don't know if it is as much motivation as it is trying to distract myself. I got talking to Mike about some of the things he is going to need to do to take care of his mom's affairs... just things I remembered from taking care of my father's. Then I remembered... tomorrow it will be four years since Donald passed away.

That just kind of freaked me out a little bit.

I talked to him on the phone just a bit ago. He sounds a lot better today. Obviously its a lot to deal with and the grief process is just starting. He did tell me that the arrangements have been set for Thursday. We mostly talked about other stuff... sometimes a break is nice. He's getting ready to go over to his sister's house for a visit, so that is good.
