I just had my 2 cups of coffee - so I'm finally awake now. It's cold and snowing outside - who else is ready for spring? I definitely am. Am also ready to enjoy another lazy Sunday. I'm basically just gonna relax today and meet some friends later in the afternoon (so more relaxing).
Oh man, coffee. I could really go for a cup of coffee right now.
I'm working at the tax office again today. I was supposed to have a day off, but I'm a sucker who can't say no when asked nicely. Well, begged, really.
Hello all. I should have just stayed up last night cuz once again I couldn't sleep. Doing laundry now and then we have bowling tonight. I'm wondering how may teams show since it is SB Sunday. There are tv's there but I still wonder. I'm also surprised that my sis and BIL are plannning on coming. Maybe they need a distraction.
Sunday on....

I feel kinda achy today. Don't wanna get out of bed. But I gotta. Ham & Rolls need to be bought, delivered and eaten.
Then it's off to Sears to pick up an exercise bike I bought (I had to sell mine when I moved back from NC cus it didn't fit in the smaller van I bought down there). From there it's to the airport to pick up Erica, she's coming back from her trip to San Francisco. Then finally, a little football!
Best part of todays game is that it marks the end of football season and the countdown to Baseball's spring training. Only about TWO WEEKS TO GO! Can you believe it!!?!?!?!
Sunday's not starting out so hot. I took the dogs out while still half asleep and forgot that the door locks itself if you close it.
20 minutes and several phone calls later the tenants let me back in
I was ringing their doorbell, but it either doesn't work or they just don't answer it at 10 AM on a Sunday, so I had to call around to find a relative that had their phone number. Good thing I carry my cell phone with me everywhere, even to take the dogs out.
I haven't locked myself out in 10 years I SWEAR! I used to do it all the time at my third from last apartment. It was scary how easy it was to break in through a window at that place.
But the last two apartments had the type of door you couldn't lock unless you had a key. That's the type of lock I need
Morning all. YAY! Its Superbowl Sunday!! I got my chili made yesterday, and have some other snacks on hand in case the kids decide to come over. Still need to go find some 3D glasses because I forgot to look for them yesterday. Need to really get me moving so I can get stuff done and actually sit and enjoy the some of the pre-game coverage.
Bummer about locking yourself out JR. Been there, done that... had to break into the house. Not fun!
Web, I'm right there with you on baseball. Not my favorite either. Very sad about football being over for the season.

For me this really feels like the football season that wasn't.
It started out with me being transplanted in NC and not being able to see any of my Packer games. Plus had the bitterness of the Favre saga.
When I got back the Pack already was stinkin' up the joint and my living situation was so unsettled I really never got to watch any games.
Now it's the superbowl and there are two teams in it that I absolutely could not care less about. Arizona? *YAWN* Football in the desert? PUH-LEEZE! I'm not even sure how they got into the league (oh yeah, huge expansion team check to the NFL, I remember now).
Hi all. I haven't done much of anything today because I woke up with a sore throat and feeling kind of achy. My husband is making dinner for us today.....fried rice with bacon in it, along with fried wonton wrappers that he's stuffed with a pork and baby shrimp mixture. Hope I'll be able to eat some because it sure smells good!
Not sure if I'll be watching the Superbowl or not. Like JR, I could care less about the teams that are playing, but I'd like to see the commercials so maybe I'll tune in for just a little bit.
Well, I finally have everything for my Superbowl experience to be complete! Just got back from the hunt for 3D glasses. Chili is heating up, got the other snacks together. It should all be good.

Warner and the Cards winning would have been a good story, but honestly the Steelers were the better team. It was a great game... nail biter right to the end.

It really was a fun game to watch! I was a little disappointed to see the Cardinals lose when they were so close, but the Steelers did play a good game and earned their victory.
Did anyone else think the commercials were a bit lackluster compared to previous years? Admittedly, I didn't have the glasses to enjoy the 3D stuff, but I just didn't see much that wowed me.
Springsteen on the other hand was great!

I LOVED the Careerbuilder.com commercial that started with the lady parking her car at work and letting out the primal scream. I have sooooooooooooooooo done that. Also thought the Bridgestone commercial with Mr. and Mrs. Potatohead was good.

The Bud commercials are always good. I think that this was probably the best Superbowl game I have ever watched. There were only one or two questionable calls, and it was hard fought the whole way on both sides.
