Here's a snippet of what I wrote about in my L.journal about last night:
Bowling for our team was made of epic fail. My current average is 139. 1st game I bowled a 138. My husband was teasing me because I did not make average. However, the 1st number called for the Mystery Game was 138! So I won $11! This is the 2nd time in a row that I've won! That ,my friends, was the highlight of the night. 2nd game I only bowled a 99. *bows head in shame* Prior to starting this league my goal would have been to break a 100. But for some reason I have been playing better and this just kills me! 3rd game I tried redeeming myself and bowled a 144. Our team lost all 3 games :(

I was a bit aggravated when I went to bed and we went to bed late but I slept ok. My sis goes in for a DNC today and then she says that she start to work on her depression. Friday is my niece's 21 birthday so we will all go out for that.

Friggin Phil saw his shadow, as if we didn't already suspect he would. Michael Phelps got caught on camera hitting the bong. no.gif

On the up side, it was a great Superbowl game to watch. Even if you were rooting for the Cards, it's hard to be disappointed.

Morning all. I agree, it was a good game last night. I don't like to watch a blow out superbowl. no.gif This was a competitive game. It took the Cards a quarter to really get moving though. If you watched the 4th quarter, you will have to agree that was the best quarter. There were some great catches by both teams throughout the game.

Rumor has it we are expecting a big snow late this afternoon into tomorrow. I will have to investigate this. It was one of those three track possibilities and I am not sure they have made up their minds yet. Might have to make sure I take work home with me. That way if I stay home I don't lose the whole day.

Work on.

oh hello. nerd.gif

it got to 36 degrees yesterday here- that felt like spring!
which is kinda funny, because in the fall when it hits 50 degrees, thats way too cold to eat outside after grilling out, so that usually signals just about the end of the grilling season. But yesterday almost felt like it coulda been lawnchairs on the (slushy muddy) lawn kinda day.

today is a long day for me. 5 hrs at the bank building after 8 at my normal job. I think the next couple of weeks will reveal if the 2nd job is too much or if Im adapting to it well.

Man! It seems like we were just singing the Monday song a couple days ago hmm.gif
Our predicted average temp for February is 52 -- we'll probably get a massive snow fall the first week of March... Keeping your sis in prayer, Woo...

Jake's girlfriend came over yesterday, and Isaac was definately flirting with her, like only a 6 year old can...

Isaac: *hands in pockets and kicking the ground * Hi, Liz. I didn't know you were coming over today. I'm six years old now...

Liz: I know, I was at your birthday remember? *pat's him on the head*

Isaac: *smacking his forehead* Oh, yeah. That's right! Do you want to watch a movie with me? I bet you haven't seen Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase... *pushes up eye glasses*

Howdy,

Yay Monday.

I had an idea while showering last night (I always do my best thinking in the shower). I ran it past JR and he also seemed to think it could be good. He said he had even thought of giving it a try himself. If we do it, you all will be invited to participate if you want. We'll work on the details and let you know if/when we're ready to set it up and begin. (Teaser over).

My better thinking can come from when I am almost asleep. And in most cases, I never remember my potentially life altering thoughts because I am too lazy (and just about asleep) to roll over, wake up and write it all down. For all I know I could have written ten books or found a big cure for something by now.

Hi all.  I went to work today even though I'm not feeling well.  Still have a sore throat and body aches.  I'm hoping it's not the flu making another round towards me.  Anyway, when I got to work this morning one of the girls I work with told me a student from our building died over the weekend.  Her parents found her dead in her bed Saturday morning, cause is not known, so they're doing an autopsy on her.  She's in the 6th grade and was only 12.  My heart goes out to her parents; I can't imagine losing a child. no.gifcry
