Lunch, weather and happy thoughts

I am eating chicken in peanut sauce- yum!- it is 48 and chilly here...come on flurries and I need a happy thought to replace the murderous ones in my head now....

Tomorrow Emily turns 6. Hard to believe it has been that long! But giving birth to her was one of the best days of my life. Such happy thoughts....smilesmile

Going to have a frozen thing, a soda and a snack bag of potato chips. There is also a pack of peanutbutter crackers for when I need a snack later.

Snowing. And I believe that temps are right around the freezing mark.

At this time I have no happy thoughts. no.gif

I have left over pot roast and vegies -- it's sunny and 32 -- happy thought for Ruby -- 20 years from now, Isaac will have his degree in biophysics and he and Emily will be engaged to be married...

I am having a dirty rice concoction, which is spicy and quite good, and a clementine.

Its 18 degrees and snowy out. might get a couple of inches.

here's happy thoughts. I thought about my bucket list. The big item on it is to have, find, or take the oppourtunity to be happy, free, rich, healthy, really alive and creative.smile.gif

My lunch is surprisingly close to JD's. I'm having beans and rice with a tangerine with some mint tea and milk.

The weather sucks. (Snowy and 14)

With this elimination diet, I'm bound to lose a few pounds.

Lately, when I've been gone at the tax office, Jack has been missing me. It's nice to be missed by a cat, especially when there's still another human around and he still misses me. When I come home, he follows me around, and if I don't sit down and pet him, he'll meow at me.

Cafateria cheeseburger bleh.gif and fries.

Freakin' cold, but sunny.

While Pambo and I were at the cafeteria, at least 3 people I haven't seen in quite a while waved "hi" as they were walking by, and I got a hug from my former Director... he's a friend of mine so that actually is a frequent occurrence, but it's still nice. Oddly, Dan Hesse walked by and smiled at me and Pambo. hmm.gif (k, so that last one is a "meh" thought)

Wow. You're special. Dan Hesse smiled at you guys. Did you follow him and tell him that friends of your are tired of his commercials?

By the way, I thought maybe you were sending me some mail today. But it was simply a 1099 from Sprint's Shared services, not from you. Why bother? It didn't even meet the $600 minimum requirement as it was for $220.

No... it took me a sec to do the name/face recognition thing. I was sitting facing the main drag through the cafeteria... when he came into my peripheral vision, I thought he was a former boss of mine until I turned to look. Pretty sure I didn't have my happy face screwed on.

If I mail you something, odds of it being in a Sprint envelope are pretty slim. Around here, company envelopes went the way of the rest of the office supplies and the dodo bird. hmm.gif

And you know I went through that mess right after lunch. Before lunch I was working on the KS personal property tax stuff. Fun.
