I'm sipping on some Tazo Refresh tea this morning. I think I'm adding this to my list of favorites, it's very minty and tasty. Is it possible to be cheered up by tea?
mmmm... I really like Tazo teas. My fave is the Zen. It's lemony/minty. Nice hot or iced.
Tulsa metro weather today will be 73 -- those numbers are not transposed, 73, but windy. And this weekend is supposed to be very springy. The roads are wet like it rained, but it's just the humidity...

Man, some of you guys have have a few days of nicer weather. All I am going to get this weekend is two days of 50. Oh well, at least I get that. I am pretty sure I going to put some pork spareribs on the grill tomorrow. I like to grill and if it is 50 with no wind, that isn't too bad. Then I am going to have to make some potato salad to go with the bbq ribs. Mmmmmm. Although, I will not be sitting out back to eat. That's just silly when is is 50 degrees.

I'm under my penguin blanket, trying to find something on TV to watch and ready for a quiet morning home alone ... well, the dog is here too, but she's out flat on the couch. She's enjoying the morning so far.
Web, sounds like the 40 percent sick grew on ya huh?
I was up all night sick myself, but it was thanks to that little chinese places Sweet & Sour Kitten. I've tried it three times and gotten sick three times. Now I'm done. Scratch that one off the list of foods I'm willing to eat. It's good stuff, but I pay for it when I buy the meal and then I pay a much steeper price about two hours after the meal
Today I'm gonna get my last fish fry for awhile (I'm gonna try to cut out greasy meals for awhile) so I intend to savor it.
I hope everyone has a good day! OH, it's a FREE MUSIC WEEKEND! Tell your friends!
morning all, it is a Monday for me. The boy's ride did not go to school and threw the whole house off. But I made it by 9:30 after I had to find my keys I had first thing this morning and turn around half way here to get a disk I forgot.
it is 38 here- cold for us too long...gonna be in the 60s though tomorrow.
Another work from home day. Yay! My son is out of school today (teacher inservice), He begged me to let my grandson skip daycare so he'd have someone to play with.
Lucky, lucky you.We still have not moved to 2 WFH days a week. Oh well... at least it was a pleasant drive in today. 54* on a February morning is something to truly appreciate. Wish I had taken the day off to work on the yard. Oh well... hopefully tomorrow will be as nice.
I'm here... trying to get in the work mode. Not much going on.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
Since my son is out of school and my oldest grandson is skipping daycare , we've decided that we're going to have a picnic on the back porch at lunch time. Woo hoo!!!
Funny story:
A little while ago, my grandson walked into my office. He had a turkey baster in his pants pocket. I asked him why he had the turkey baster in his pocket. He looked at me, showed me the keychain he was carrying & started making a car noise. He said "I'm using it for my car, Pambo." He went back to making the car noise then shifted gears with the turkey baster.
Finally Friday! Does anyone else think this week has dragged by in snail mode?? I got a card in the mail today; my new glasses are ready so I'll be picking those up in a little bit, then I'm taking my car in for a wash, wax, and interior cleaning.
Web, hope you feel better soon!
JR, enjoy your fish dinner. I'm going to a fish fry tonight also....I hope they have chocolate cake for dessert. I haven't had any chocolate in two months; I'm in dire need of some!
That's the difference between you and me. I'd actually take JD, G-gal, and Squonk with me if they could be here. I'd take you too, but you'd have to sit in the car and wait for us while we ate.

What other differences do we have, my fine feathered penguin friend???
Hmm, for starters we come from different states, different backgrounds, we have different beliefs, different political views. I'm always right, you're always wrong. I say po-tay-toe you say po-tat-toe. When push comes to shove I'm usually pushin' and you're usually shovin'. And oh yeah, the biggest difference of all! You're here blabbing on the forum and I'M on my way to a DELICIOUS fish fry!

You would leave your friends at home like that? Shame on you. I'm going to tell Dylan. You didn't exclude him by name. And we might be able to get around the rest of your clause of "in time" if I tell him to be 10 minutes late.

It is the middle of the afternoon. What time do you eat dinner? 4pm? What are you, 80 years old?
it's a fish fry at the casino. The blue hairs get there early, I don't wanna miss out on the good stuff. We'll call it my lupper. I had no lunch today.
Oh boy. I should have known. Hanging out with the old people. And in our family we call it linner (lunch and dinner). Same thing. We don't talk that supper language.
