Good morning everyone!

I just had breakfast with myself (bf is working today), while posting in the 25- random-facts-about-yourself-thread. It was fun and pretty difficult at the same time.

Weather here is awful: gushing rain and just above freezing.
I hope it clears up later (planning on meeting friends in the afternoon). Until then I am once more in for a lazy, relaxing Sunday smile

Hey der all youz guyz.

Not much happenin' around here today. I'm gettin' ready right now to go get some Cousin's subs for my grandmother and myself, then I'm gonna sit and watch TV with her this afternoon so my Mom & Erica can go have some fun.

We have to try to get my Mom some free time from watching Grandma otherwise you start to feel a little trapped in that situation I think.

I hope everyone's having a great day so far!

Good day all.

I'm not working!!! This is the first day in *looks at calendar* 4 weeks that I haven't had to work at one job or another or be somewhere.

I woke up at the insane hour (for a Sunday) of 7:30. Then I thought it would be a good time to go to Wal-Mart. I'd been trying to find something and tried every other store, and as usual, I finally broke down and went to Wal-Mart, and they had it. I hate that. But I'm glad I found it.

Then I came home and hemmed some pants for a friend.

Then I took a nice long bubble bath with a book.

Then I dusted and vacuumed.

Now I'm doing laundry.

Later, we're going to see Coraline.

Yesterday sucked. You can read my LJ post on that. Not gonna dwell on it today. Slept in today and have been having one heck of a time staying awake. Watched a Red Wings game which we won! w00t.gif
the only thing I've managed to do so far is eat breakfast and start some laundry- lol

Tis a lazy day. smile

        The only productive thing I managed to get done today was a load of
        dirty dishes - otherwise I've just been slacking around.

Well, I just put in another 2 hours on the yard. I got some little cleanup things done... another 3 bags of yard waste full. Got a couple little chores around the house done earlier. I've still got a few to do, but I'm going to find the game on TV and try to chill out and watch it for a little bit anyway.

While I was outside, I saw a couple of my neighbors. Talked to the guy who lives across the easement from me for a few minutes, which I haven't done in quite a while other than just waving coming and going. Seems he got laid off December 1st. I guess that makes me the few, the proud, the still employed. hmm.gif The lady who lives behind me got laid off a while ago. Her husband recently got laid off, but I gather is doing some different work for a while. Haven't talked to the other neighbor, but it was mentioned that she is "having a hard time too". Man, that blows. I have really nice neighbors. I hate to hear they are struggling.

Hi all!  I spent the day whacking mobsters, gangsters, and vampires over on Facebook....dang Pambo's got me hooked on these games!!  I also got the laundry done and the house cleaned up so it wasn't a totally wasted day, ha.

I can finally see our yard.  All of the snow has melted except where it's been piled up from snowblowing.  My Lab had a great time out in the mud and water this weekend until I hooked up the hose to hose her down so she could come back in the house; I guess getting clean isn't as much fun as getting dirty. smile

Man, I am tired! I did a couple loads of laundry, fired up the grill and cooked dinner, and did some dishes since I last checked in.

This day started out with adding some water to my water bed since I noticed it was getting a little low. Last time I had to do that, I bought a brand new hose. Since I figure it is something I will only have to do every couple years at best, I didn't spend a lot of money on the hose. I remember that the first time I used it, it got a kink in it. hmm.gif This is only the second time I have ever used it, and I'm here to tell you that if it was possible to commit hose-icide, I TOTALLY would have! angered.gif I did not know it is possible to get so angry at an inanimate object. If I didn't know it still had water in it, I sure would have at least stabbed it a few times. The think kinked in 5 different places while I was filling the bed!! I don't know HOW it managed to do that since it was not being moved at the time... it was just LAYING there. Suffice it to say, that piece of crud is now in the garbage barrel waiting to go out to the curb in the morning.

Hose-icide.  laughing.gif  Last time I filled up our waterbed, the hose cross-threaded in the little doo-dad in the bed and I ended up soaking the mattress cover, sheets, and comforter when I tried to re-thread it.  Stupid me forgot the water to the hose was still on when I unscrewed it so I could re-thread it. no.gifashamed

doh.gif One of the times that it kinked, it did so close enough to the faucet that before I could get there the mounting water pressure blew the little adapter thingy off the sink and the end of the hose fell to the floor. Wouldn't have been a big deal except the sink area in my master bathroom is carpeted. no.gif

Checked in late gotta check out early. I'm actually nearly finished with a book, don't be scared, I do from time to time pick one up.
