I know we have favorite threads probably all over the place, so I apologize if this seems like a duplicate.

I opened a bag of M&Ms the other day and then took a big whiff. That got me to thinking about my favorite smells. Do you have any?

A few of the smells that I enjoy include:
 Freshcut grass
 A new bag of M&Ms
 Right after a warm spring or summer rain
 Peeling an orange

I haven't smelled it in a LOOOOOOONG time, but I used to love the smell of that purple ink stuff from the old hand cranked copy machines they used way back in school. I don't remember now what those things were called . . . Mimeograph? I know if I were to smell that right now, it would put me right back in JR High.

I don't know if it's a favorite smell, but I was just thinking the other day about how much I miss that smell of a brand new cassette tape when an artist would package their album in one of those clear cassettes. They had a very distinct odor that reminds me of being a kid getting a new cassette.

I love all scents- perfume, cologne, flowers, candles of all kinds!

I know one scent I hate- the smell of cinnamon, we have an air freshener in the restroom here that is cinnamon and whenever someone wants to cover up their restroom odor, they spray it. Now cinnamon reminds me of the scent of poop.

Since I don't have Ruby's association to it, I LOVE the smell of cinnamon. Roses, lilacs, oranges, lemons, certain colognes and perfumes when worn in moderation, just about any home baked goods. nod.gif

I used to love the smell of gasoline back when I was a kid. the formulas have changed since then, and it no longer smells like that.

Another weird one: I love the smell of wet paint. And sharpies.

Perhaps I'll sit here and smell my sharpie for a while...

I hate the smell of roses.....too overbearing for my taste and it reminds me of the perfume some of the older women wear. bleh

MMM - good one.  I probably lost many a brain-cell snorting those purple photo copies!
