Good morning FFR! No work for me today or next Friday either because the schools have a PPD....paid professional day. I'm not a pro so I never get paid.
We've had a wild ride in the weather here already this morning. Pouring rain changed to freezing rain, then sleet, and now it's all snow.
We went out to the wine bar last night. The good news is, it does not appear that I'm allergic to wine. But that means I may be allergic to chocolate. I'll try it out later today and see.
Brian took over the bed last night. As soon as I'd scoot him back on his side and steal some covers back, he'd just be back on my side again. So I moved to the couch. So I didn't sleep too well, and I'm a bit tired today.
Morning. I am here and patiently awaiting the end of the work day already. The big wigs are supposed to be in the building today. The rain will start this afternoon. We get one day of semi warm. It is in the low 50s now.
Ghost - we are to due to get that crappy weather tomorrow night.
Okay. Early soda and work on.

After computer issues I had to reinstall Firefox and am trying to remember all that I used on it but my brain is not working. I guess when I go to do something and it doesn't work I will remember. We have lost a lot of fish that I haven't mentioned but we have another one that looks as if he may be dead by the time we get home. This one's gonna hit hard. I think he doesn't realize it though. He was still so very happy to eat. I hope he can push through but we haven't been able to save a single fish yet, so I have little hope.
So I don't want to be here with my computer that is driving me mad and I don't want to be home fussing over a fish.
I have a ton of work so gotta go

I think the 2nd job is getting to me. its pretty monotonous and boring. I think I may need something more active that keeps me moving. 4 hrs in a chair bangin out numbers gets old....

morning all, I am feeling a little better today. I am leaving early to go to the boy's school and retrieve his Zune and then drop off Emily's stuff for her first real sleep over. She will be 45 minutes away, so I hope she will make it all night. I am not really worried about it, she is pretty confident and not a clingy kid. Her best friend moved and they have not seen each other since school started. They were inseparable at daycare for 5 years.
Today my best friend of 35 years turns 40. Hard to believe that I have had a friend for 35 years. It is rare in this world I do believe. Some days I am not sure I will make that long with my husband.
I have been missing you all. The teens are giving us trouble again.....
I can't believe it's a FIVE FOR FRIDAY! Five songs, I will own the station! I can always dream. Time to hit the treadmill. On the to do list: Clean basement Check out USB Turntables A little artroom time Crank tunes Chill/Grill

just sorted payroll checks at my supervisor's desk where she still has FFR playing. She told me that she really likes the variety. I told her that I I wasn't sure it would be too wide a variety and she assured me that she liked that.

Good morning, all! TGIF! This has been a long week. Next week will suck even worse. Oh well... at least I have that to look forward to. Its partly sunny here today, and was 24* on the drive in. I think the rain has passed for the day, but we are supposed to get snow after midnight tonight.
Today is my baby boy's 30th birthday. MAN do I feel OLD!!

Very windy! Sounded like a dang tornado most of the night. We didn't really get that much in the way of rain, it was mostly just sort of misting all day.
I guess I feel like I'm lost in the space/time continuum. I'm on the doorstep of 39... grandkid #4 should be born in about 6 or 7 weeks, kids are both in their 30's... its just all weird.

That's what my mom says too. She claims to have been young once and told me that I should kinda shove it because her baby is pushing 40 and has already made her a great grandma.

Thanks! On the one hand, I want to ask him the same question he asked me on my 30th... "So, how does it feel to be middle aged?"... but I'm trying hard to be nice because I know he's got a lot to cope with at the moment.
