Brian's home with the stomach flu today. At least it doesn't seem like he's got it too bad, he mostly just feels nauseous, not really spending much time in the bathroom.

Congrats Ultimo! smile

I am really tired today. Had to stay up late to finish laundry. I'm already soda-ing. I over worked my wrists. They were really bothering my last week and between scrubbing my bathroom walls/floors and bowling, my right one is pretty much shot. I'm already using my splint. I may be trying to enter data with my left. Good thing I did get that keyboard accessory.

I'm lookin' forward to a warming trend that is coming this week. Its 14 degrees right now and this weekend is the change to daylight savings time? Thats just not right.

Howdy folks.

Snowy Monday here. Plenty of it and it is still comng down. It is supposed to contnue throughout the day. We have a Nor'easter going on. There is enough snow to keep me home. My job is not worth risking my life. Perhaps if I only lived a few miles away. I got up, made my decision and then promptly took a nap. It was nice.

Razzen frazzen everybody gotta be in the office all week packing the parking garage in the cold! Sorry... rant over.

Morning again all! It's the start of "fun week" here at Survivor: Sprint. Its in the 20's and mostly sunny, on the way to a high of 34*. Supposed to be much nicer by Wednesday and Thursday according to the last forecast I saw this morning.

Hi all.  It's cold here today; only 14 with a windchill of -8.  Fuzzy, sorry you're getting a big snowstorm, but better you than me. winkbiggrin

I'm having trouble with my internet connection again; I'm constantly being kicked off.  Last night I was tuned into JD's shows when it began, and I couldn't get back online the rest of the night.  I'm so disgusted with Charter!!  Wish there was another cable company I could go with........I'm really upset with their poor service I'm paying for every month.

Day 2......hope everyone is doing well!!! smile

Thats why we're switching to satellite. We used to be Charter here too but they sold us off to another company and the service didn't change.

I got the satellite dish put up, now we're waiting for the installer to come align it and activate it. He said he could do that some time this week.

My snow day:

In a short amount of time (about five hours), I have showered, shovled snow, had somethng to eat, folded and put the laundy away, washed the comforter and sheets (both still in the dryer), put up a new shower curtain liner and changed the curtain to my other one, gathered the paperwork to submit a refund, watched an episode of ER, washed the dishes, cleaned the countertops and stove, went through the freezer looking for something to make for dinner, have checked e-mail, played in the forum and gathered the trash and recycling.

I have to place an order for my my at Road Runner sports yet, do her tax return and maybe watch some more recorded tv. Plus, I will have to make the bed when the sheets are dry.

I know, it is so exciting, isn't it?

But most of them are light, quick things. The longest was the snow. At least it was the light and fluffy type of snow. Some things can be multitasked. You know you can get stuff done while things are in the washer and dryer.

I needed the day anyway. I was beat from the weekend. For some odd reason I was up early both days but got to bed late too. You think I would have gotten more done around here.
