Deep Cut Punk Tonight on Underground 80s

I find that sometimes its fun to look to the past and (re?)discover something new there.
I have been on a tear finding and receiving great & hard to find punk tracks this past month or so. In addition to digging around and finding stuff myself. I need to thank Squonk and our bud Demonic Dan for sharing songs from their collections for the show.

Tonight! We will be featuring tracks from:

The Zero Boys
Flipper
C*ck Sparrer
The Jesus Lizard
Nirvana
Echo & The Bunnymen
Minor Threat
The Circle Jerks
The Melvins
Motorhead
The Buzz****s
Stiff Little Fingers
Joy Division (live)
Corosion of Conformity
Couch Flambeau

This is REALLY an Underground 80s kind of show, the show that I've always wanted to broadcast. Have no idea who these bands are? Or a vague and distant recollection? Tune on in at 7 pm CST for a history of punk! www.freezeframeradio.com

For sure. That station, although still good, doesn't often make me want to stay out late, pay too much for a show, or buy cds.
Funny  thing, I went to the gym today, no that's not the funny part. It's funny strange. Shut up, Ghost! Anyway, I was saying, the music on the system was awesome. A mix of Yardbirds, Hendrix, Flock of Seagull, Aha, Zepplin... like I was running the sounds.

Hey, that lineup they were playing at your gym sounds pretty close to what I was listening to while biking today......well the Zep and Hendrix anyway.  I also had some Disturbed in the mix.  Man, I was stoked while riding! smile

I miss being here more... my life does not allow me as much free time anymore...it is a good and bad thing...but I love this music and your voice! Try to stay a bit..... Emily is already asleep.
