Wednesday

Good day all.

I'm feeling okay this morning.  Well, other than a little wacked out in the head, but what's new?

Dang, its cold. Its 2 now with a windchill of -12.

The boy gets out of school at 2:00 today for Spring Break. Then, Monday is parent/teacher conferences so he doesn't go back to school until Tuesday. Looks like I'll be WFH the next few days.

Dang, its cold.

Happy Hump Day!
I forgot to take my medicine last night but I still had a weird dream. I thought these were all medicine related. Nope I'm just crazy hmm

It's payroll crunch time. Last day to get it in and I'm still waiting on data from people! Plus I have a bunch of extra stuff to add for this payroll.

yawn  i just can't get a good night's sleep this week!  i woke myself up last night yelling "shut up!"  it was quite loud, so probably a good thing i was sleeping on the sofa.  i have no idea what i was dreaming...

our little summer tease has passed in the tulsa metro.  today will only reach 41.

Spring break begins the middle of the week for y'all, Web?

Morning all. Should be in the 80s again today, but cool down tomorrow.

I am going on a field trip tomorrow with Emily's class. It is to a garden and swamp. It is beautiful there- looks of cypress trees in the swamp. I am looking forward to it and the day off not being sick.

The boy is on his third day with a 102 temperature. I hope I do not catch it.

I took Ruby for a walk this morning. I think this is the first time she has seen fog. Man she was a scaredy dog about the whole thing. She was freaked out and her hair was on end like a Mohawk! She is no protection!

I went from rage to tears last night and everything in my body is dry- eyes, mouth, hair and skin. Even behind my ears and all down my neck. It makes my face look so much older than it normally does. Can't wait to feel better and neither can anyone else around me.

I am awful chatty today too! have a great!

Morning all. Cloudy, misty, about 40 degrees this morning.

I had a good mail/package day yesterday. I knew the new sneakers I ordered were due to arrive yesterday. I was surprised when I got home that my sneakers, the replacement grill part I ordered, my three games of AA baseball tickets and my replacement phone all arrived. That put me in a much better mood. I made myself a nice dinner, watched Desparate Housewives from Sunday night and then the hockey game. Didn't do some of the other stuff I wanted to, so I'll have to do it tonight.

Work on.

Yes. As far as  I can remember, I think it always has been this way here.

Morning. It's Wednesday... hump on! Freezing cold here in good ol' KS. Ice on the roads and everything. YAY! I wish Mother Nature would make with the spring time warm. smile.gif Those couple days in the 60's and 70's are such a tease!

Morning all.

Web, I saw spring break on your 30 boxes calendar and thought it was a mistake. Around these parts spring break starts a week before Easter and finishes up with Easter weekend.

Man it's cold and windy here today. Only 16 degrees. Mother nature played a nasty little trick on us and kept warming it up around here from 7 pm to midnight. At 7 it was 36, by midnight it was 53. I went to bed thinking "oh boy, by morning it'll be 70!". YEAH RIGHT! no.gif

Yeah, I think so. I don't feel so much like I has the dumb today. smile.gif Mostly that went away about 5:45PM when I had the epiphany of where I could find the ancient documentation that Pambo asked me for yesterday morning.  I made copies of it for her earlier, much to the amusement of my boss. He came by to say good morning and found me mucking about with a couple 3-ring binders and asked if I was updating information. I said no, just copying some old ones for the 250 crew. He said good, then asked me why I was so happy about it... well, because I got to remember my very favorite office supply of all time... the paper hole reinforcer, AKA "the paper a-hole"!  AND LOOKIE KEN, I DIDN'T PUCKER A SINGLE ONE OF THEM!! I thought he was going to stroke out from laughing at me. biggrin.gif

Does anyone even use those things anymore?

I do!  Every time I have to haul out my one of my three ring binders full of old crap. nod.gif

I guess because I don't keep much in binders around here, I thought they faded away a bit. I am pretty sure the last time I kept things in binders (going back to my last job) I didn't use them either.

Yeah, all of my binder stuff is really ancient. It used to be the best data store we had given the rather punk size of the hard drives in our computers. I just never got rid of my old documentation. Good thing, huh? giggle.gif As a consequence, I still have enough 3-ring binders to fight off a whole clan of cave bears.

Time to scan that stuff and get it stored on the network.

That would take forever! Most of it exists in some electronic format already. Its just not as easily referenced. They keep telling me the old LD network is going to "go away" someday anyway. rofl.gif I've been hearing that one every day since I walked in the network door about 14 years ago.
