I got my wish already! The Chiefs picked up Matt Cassel and Mike Vrable. We might actually have a good season!

The Packers have been quiet in free agency...Ted Thompson is pretty conservative in that respect.

I am not sure who the Packers are looking for in the draft.  They have several needs.  At number nine, we should get a decent player.

They need an OT, DE, LB or CB

which means they will probably draft a WR  biggrin

Yeah, some interest. As long as there isn't one of his shows that he really wants to watch on at the same time as the games, he's cool with it.

Nah, he'll never be playing for the Huskers. I can tell that he's not going to be a hard core sports kid. He's got his momma's short legs too. smile.gif

He actually seems to enjoy pro games more than the Husker games.

I'm really looking forward to football this year since we'll have HD this time.

Alas you are contractually obligated to love him anyway since he is your kid. smile.gif I feel that pain... my boys were way more into "wheeling and dealing" than sports when they were in school. I was the parent sporting the "My kid beat up your honor student" bumper sticker.
