Good day all.

I wish I could've taken a mental health day today.  It seems like a good day to sleep in, get up, make some breakfast, read a book, hit the gym, run by the store, etc.

Morning. Cloudy and 50 right now. Apparently that is due to be our high temp for the day. It is all downhill from here. Although the first day of spring is tomorrow, it will be the coldest day here all week.

I am going to spend my day working with 12 or 13 CA ppt returns. Fun. I can barley control myself. I am hoping to finish them today so that I can have a lighter day tomorrow. You know, maybe find a new major. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

My eyes are driving me crazy with burning and watering- one in particular. I might of got some makeup in but I wouldn't think it would last this long.

I am here. I was feeling better yesterday but today my skin and hair and mouth are beyond dry and I am about as grouchy as I can be. So is my boss...


have a great, not sure I will be back today. I have to start documenting all the mistakes that the etch a sketch head is making. That will be a full time job. He needs some documentation to fire her and he finally has given into my complaining...

Good morning yawn  Well, it's winter again in the Tulsa metro.  Ok, maybe that's exagerated, but it's windy, cloudy, scattered storms and our high today will be around what our low was the past couple days -- 60 something. 

I caught Jacob trying to sneak out of the house last night.  He's trying to leave the house now, but when he's 25, I probably won't be able to get him to move out!  evileye

He is such a bone head... I would think that by now he would already figure out that he's going up against a pro  no  and 99% of the time I'm a step or two ahead of him.

1.  He was acting WAY too nice to me when I picked him up from Services. (patronizing)
2.  Whenever he's obviously not tired and tells me good night, I know he's trying to get ME to go to bed, he's up to no good. (manipulating)
3.  He was talking on the cell and the house phone at the same time (scheming)

His friend was waiting up the driveway, but was too stupid to turn off his headlights.  Not sure what the exact plans were, but his friend just got a car.

I told him that I didn't understand why he thought he needed to sneak out of the house  -- of course I really do understand that it's the THRILL of it all -- and all he had to do was ask if he could go.  So, he asked disbelief and I said no... biggrin.   

Didn't over react...  didn't want it to blow up on me...  and didn't tell Mr. DS; i just didn't feel like being in the middle -- I felt like it was handled.

lol. It wasn't a big deal, which is why half way through I decided it wasn't worth the effort of typing it. But now I've typed just as many key strokes as if I'd told the story in the first place. no.gif

Lately I've been getting up at 8 AM and around ten minutes to nine I'll walk to my Mom's house, then walk with her to her work, then walk back home. It's about a two mile round trip and another way to add some exercise to my day.

Well, today I overslept and instead of waking up at 8 I woke up at 8:45. For some reason it was in my head that my Mom starts work at nine (when in reality she starts at 10) and I had slept through our walk. I called my Moms cell and said "why didn't you call me, I can't believe I overslept."

For the next ten minutes I was going through my normal routine when my Mom called and said "What are you talking about? It's not even nine yet. You usually don't even get here until 9:20 or so".

So I quickly got dressed and speed walked over to her house smile.gif

I just thought it was odd that I was so out of sorts time-wise this morning.

See? Aren't you sorry you wasted three minutes of you life reading that story now? I warned you!

I hear ya MZ. I know I'll feel a little off (no wise-cracks please!) the rest of the day now.

It made me think of the time I had switched from doing a 7 day a week Journal paper route to a 5 day a week USA Today Route back in the 90's.

Both routes started around 3:30 AM and one Saturday I woke up at 4:30 AM and went into a complete panic thinking i was running behind. I got dressed and into the car before I realized it was Saturday and I didn't have to do the route.

I've been productive today.

The latest round of domain transfers is finally complete. Its funny, I've moved more than 1/2 of the domains I'm responsible for from one provider to another. Provider #1 FINALLY noticed and had a sales person contact me to see if there was a problem.

"Uh, yes, there is a problem, and I gave you guys a chance to fix it but you refused. So, I'm fixing it by moving away from you."

I've also gotten quite a few other things accomplished today. smile.gif

Our new HD TV keeps getting backordered/delayed. I figure there's not much point in digging out the old player and setting up the blu-ray player to attach it to an old 25" standard def TV.

(Somewhat) Patiently waiting.
