lunch, weather and favorite season

I ate a roast beef sammich and have some carrots and broccoli I will eat soon.

It is 69 I did not even know that!

I like Spring the best except for the pollen! But the older I get the more I appreciate my lawn and what is springing up!

Lunch: I'm eating some whole wheat crackers with spinach feta spread, some fruit (fresh blueberries, pineapple, and what looks like oranges or tangerines), and a Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein Hazelnut Latte.

Weather: Beautiful, but not quite freakin' beautiful. It's 49 and sunny. It's warm enough that I could probably sit outside with Jack for a bit if I don't take him to PetSmart with me.

Favorite Season: Summer. Even with all it's heat and humidity. I love July evening thunderstorms, or spending all day reading a book by the pool.

Lunch: A nap

Weather: Sunny and mid 50's

Season: Summer! I love sunshine even when it comes with 110* heat and 80% humidity.

Lunch: I had a lean cuisine mushroom & spinach pizza (too bready), some celery w/peanut butter and a glass of water with a twist of lime.

Weather: Still cloudy, windy and on & off sprinkles 60 ish...

Favorite Season: Autumn... I like the warmth of the colors--rusts, yellows; reds; the warm days that fade softly into cool nights; the smell of roasting green chilie (New Mexico thing); the aromas of tabu food at a county fair; American Indian pow wow's and ceremonial dances...

I had tuna fish, a cherry coke zero, a pack of peanutbutter crackers. I have an orange if I need a snack later.

Still cloudy, had some rain and it is about 45 degrees outside.

I have always been uncertain of my favorite season. I love the summer because I am able to spend so much time outside and enjoy myself. At the same time I love the spring so much because everything begins anew and the temps are kind of hard to describe but are enjoyable.

My favorite season seems to change as I get older. I used to love summer, now it is too hot. Then I loved fall, but there is no fall here, no leaves that change colors, so I forgot about how nice it is! You all know about my winter woes, I love snow, but forgot what it looks like and I do know it is a royal pia... so all that is left is spring!

Deal, ladies!!  My 'hood has a pool conveniently located across the street from my house. Lots of lounge chairs.

You know, I live pretty much halfway between Kansas and Philly.  Pool party and cookout at my house this summer.  I make a mean margarita without all that "sweet and sour mix" junk.

I will bring backup too. A little wine won't hurt anyone.

Fuzzy, you can bring it, or we can go on a Southern Indiana Winery Tour. (Really, they actually have that.)

The way I see it, a margarita need be no more complicated than tequila, triple sec, and lime juice in a salt rimmed glass full of ice. nod.gif

Okay, that sounds like more fun.

Same lunch as yesterday.

Sunny and 53.

My favorite season is June. Late spring/early summer where the days warm up and the nights cool off and an occasional thunderstorm rolls over.

Made some hot dogs (culinary whiz that I am)

it is sunny and 37*

I LOVE fall...especially Indian Summer's portion.  The smell of the leaves the bright crisp mornings.  Sweater weather...football ahhhhh.

Fall is always kind of depressing because it means winter is coming. But the Huskers do help make up for some of that.

The nice part of fall up here really only lasts about a month or month and a half at most...usually September and most of October...winter does nothing for me either Web.

Mrs Web has her vacation set now.

Looks like we'll be going up to visit Sparky and Ally. Maybe we'll see Mt. Rushmore while we are there.

Lunch was a tuna wrap made with a fat-free flour tortilla and lots of lettuce inside along with a Diet Dr. Pepper.  It was cold here today, only made it to 35 with an icy wind out of the north.  Anyone that knows me also knows that SUMMER is my favorite season! I like it hot, even if that means it's also gonna be humid.  Fall is nice, winter and spring suck.....too cold and too wet here in MI.
