I didn't lose this week, at least not by what the scale said this morning. But I think I have more water weight than usual today, so that I didn't gain is good.
I had a loss this week; not a big one but I'll take it. About another half a pound to go, and I'll have lost 20 pounds so far, so I think I'm doing good sticking to my diet and exercising 5 days a week.
I gotta tell ya, I'm really surprised to see the pounds coming off. I haven't made any huge, drastic changes in the way I eat.....the main thing I'm doing is watching portion sizes and eating 3 meals a day. I'm exercising, but again, nothing drastic.....30-35 minutes 5 times a week.
I think I just needed to rev my metabolism back up Web. I used to eat once a day, then snack at night with very little physical exercise.
I really think there's something to that theory that if you don't eat enough, your body thinks it's starving and stores whatever food you give it instead of burning it for fuel.
We had a much better week. As a group, we lost a total of 16.3 lbs.
Congrats to JR on an awesome week. I've heard that if you do something for 30 days, it will become a habit and much easier to continue. Hopefully we're getting to where we don't have to think about the healthy living so much and it is just becoming natural to us.
Good job, group!
