Morning. I know we have stated before that weekends are too short. But they are. This will probably be a long week for me as I have so much to do in the next two weeks. It is also due to rain for most of the week. Welcome Spring.

We have a 10:00 school start again today. Its not bad here in town, but the country roads are still wet/icy so they wanted to give the buses more time to run.
I had a very uneventfull weekend. Saturday was a warm but windy day, and Sunday was cold and windy. We stayed in and watched movies -- X-Men; Twilight; Kite Runner; Changling. I really liked Kite Runner and Mr. DS liked it too despite having to read sub-titles. I heard Changling was good (I took a little siesta).
I made some awesome Salmon on a bed of rice and vegies cooked in foil on Sunday.
Tulsa metro today is cold and windy -- 32; wind chill 22 right now. Maybe we'll get to 47.
Smiles everyone! Smiles!

Back to work...and glad of it...had a very busy three days in Washington DC and Atlanta looking at the two final schools with my son. Ruled out American in DC so now it's down to.....Tulane in NOLA and Emory in ATL.....it's driving me and my wife crazy.....hopefully a decision this week!
I didn't sleep much last night so Monday (foul word) came too quickly. Pretty much spent the whole weekend medicated. Don't even know why I'm here today. Maybe it's my mission to gripe all day....

Hi all! So far we haven't got all the snow they said we were going to; it's just enough to cover the ground, but was supposed to be 3-6 inches. Doesn't break my heart that we didn't get it all.
I spent a few hours clearing out a stack of papers that were piling up, paying bills, and got my youngest girl's Driver's Ed papers filled out and mailed in. She had a choice between 3 1/2 weeks in June or 3 1/2 weeks in July; she chose June.... yay, that leaves the rest of the summer free!
JR, hope you're having a good day at your new job!
