It's nice and warm in the office this morning. My boss is going to complain that it's hot. The thermastat is normally on 60. I did turn it up to 68 yesterday, but I turned it down to 66 when I got in, so hopefully she'll let me keep it up. I have a different thermastat and heater than she does, and this week I'm the only one on this side. She'll end up turning the air on on her side.
I bought a new zippered hoodie in the fall. The zipper is already getting to where it will open up and come apart.
I've wanted a "Scott E Vest" hoodie for a long time, but they are expensive. I found a coupon code for 20% off which made it "only" about twice the cost of a cheap hoodie. I just now ordered one. Hopefully it will be better quality and last more than just a few months.
Morning. Having another "hard to wake up" day. I was thrilled when Mema IM'd me telling me she was in. I need help staying awake this morning. Once again...
Oye! Lemme tell ya! 15 years of waking up pretty much whenever the hell I wanted to is gonna be HARD to let go of!
Yesterday I started at 7 so I was up at 5, today I started at 6 so I was up at 4:15. BLECH!
Now I'm off until tomorrow night, then I start my regular shift which will be 10:30 - 6:00. BUT, I have a benefits orientation next Wednesday so I'll also be off Tuesday night but have to be there during the day Wednesday from 8 AM - 3:30 PM then have to work from 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM.
I'll be glad when all that stuff is over and I just settle into my schedule.
Now somebody PLEASE rub my feet, these dogs are barkin'!!!!! :(

Man, they sure do help you adjust to the night schedule, don't they?!
Stick your feet in a bath of epsom salts and tea tree oil and sit in front of your computer chatting with us for a while.
With the holidays I'm gonna get a bunch of unpaid days off too. Like Thursday night and Sunday night, which I would normally work, will be off.
That's good and bad at the same time. It's nice to start slow and have the time off, but I'm eager to get into a groove too.
Unfortunately I can't chat long, I told my MOm I'd meet her at a local greasy spoon and walk to the food store with her, help her carry some groceries. I COULD drive, but walking is better for me. The POWER of 25 weeks!
