Sunday Night

Wow, I can't believe there isn't a Sunday thread started.

Yesterday, started out warm, humid, and sunny here but by the afternoon it was pouring rain for the rest of the day, last night, and most of today too.  Temps dropped from high 70s down to the high 40s, low 50s.  Tomorrow is supposed to be warm again, but chance of storms coming in.

I spent the weekend cleaning house and doing laundry.  Exciting, huh? bleh

Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend!

Glad JD is on the air tonight.  I'm in the mood for some Underground!! biggrin

I'm here and listening and checking in every so often. I had a good weekend. I'm just not feeling all that talkative, I guess.

I thought about starting a Sunday thread, but got lazy about it. hmm.gif At the moment I'm trying to talk me into going to a "goodbye" party for one of my friends who works at the happy hour bar. She's moving to California. Its a theme party... and the theme is prom. I don't have a prom dress anymore, but I do have a nice evening dress I can wear.

The weather here has been weird. Thunderstorms and tornados last night. Cloudy and windy today. Presently it is a very muggy 75* and windy.

lol and she knows she can come over and visit me here if she's goin stir crazy, but I know she has a friend she's been meaning to call and get caught up with, so I'm sure she'll be ok. wink

but she says to say hi to everyone, so I am for her here.

Did I not make it on to the Sunday thread? Sorry folks.
Yep, I'm here for a little while. Friggin' weird weekend. This whole super rain crap. I spent a big chunk of last night in the dark living room watching my Porcupine Tree DVD. Awesome. Today, I volunteered at the local nature center. Nobody came. Too much rain, not enough hype.

Well, how much time do you have?

Pretty good. I'm still recording LPs. Not as fast n furious but, clunkin' along. I plan to ship you copies. I also thought you'd  dig Porcupine Tree. If you YouTube them, check the Fear of a Blank Planet video. I stuck it out on FFR some  time back because it was too real to me. We had some interesting times when we were growing up but, my parents on a bad day cared more about my future than some parents think they do these days. Sometimes, what we (parents) say might "suck" but, ten or twenty years from now, you'll be glad I made that choice for you.

I'll check 'em out over on youtube.  Thanks!

Oh, you're gonna make me some copies???  Way cool!!  clap.gif  Thanks for thinking of me!! biggrin

I hear ya about the parent thing, but like you say, as the kids get older they realize we were doing the best we could at the time.  I know I gave my mom and dad a real hard time and now when I look back at some of the crap I did, I feel really bad for what I put them through.
