Good morning all!  I get an early jump on the weekend since I don't have to work today.  And best of all, it isn't raining today!!!! clap.gif biggrin My girls want to go to the mall and then I want to stop by Lowes and Home Depot to get some prices on some improvements we want to do up at the cabin this summer.

In-laws arrived last night
kinda irritable at the moment. Just some stupid stuff that happened last night, plus trying to adjust to other people being with us. We are alone so much that it's weird to have others there. I kinda laughed at sharing a bathroom with hubby again. It went fine but it felt odd

Morning gang.

I had a frustrating day yesterday trying to get my blood pressure meds refilled.

I was switching clinics because of the problems I had at the old clinic with the doctor over-prescribing anxiety medication and then accusing me of changing his prescription to get more pills than he wanted me to have (he refused to admit it was his mistake).

So I went to the Walgreens "Take Care" clinic. The nurse practitioner was an hour and a half late and then when I asked if she was going to be opening soon when she finally got there she looked at me and gave me some attitude while saying "Well, once I get settled in!".

When she finally opened I was told they don't do blood pressure :(

Then I went to the Aurora walk-in clinic near my sisters house. Twenty minutes in line only to be told they could take my BP but they can't prescribe medicine. In order to do that I'd have to select a doctor and make an appointment. The earliest was in three weeks!

So today I'm probably gonna head up to St. Josephs Outpatient Clinic. I've heard they can take care of me.

I also gotta get to the police station and buy a Milwaukee Parking Permit for work.

Other than that, my weekend has started and I plan to enjoy the time off!

It has been a crazy busy day of going to mind-bogglingly dumb meetings, plus one awkward lunch invitation that I roped 3 other innocent bystanders into going along with. On the whole, not too bad.

We spun off Embarq as part of the Nextel merger. This is a different deal... rebadging what sounds to be most of network over to Ericcson. Network is the expensive part of the company.

I'd just like to have enough space that I can get around my desk chair without having to push it in under my desk. High walls all the way around again would be nice. I hate feeling stared at all day.
