Hi Sandy! I've been good, just crazy busy and fighting off some minor health issues. My manager got fired a couple weeks ago so I'm running the show in my workgroup temporarily. Using my dad's laptop while mine is up for repair.
What's new with you?

Nothing new, same ole same ole.....but at least the weather's getting much better!!
I've been doing a lot of reading lately; finished 4 books in the past couple of days and working through a fifth one, ha. Oh, and since I joined up with 25 weeks, I've dropped almost 30 pounds!! Unbelievable!!! I feel so much better.....have way more energy, feel great, and am loving endorphins, haha. I'm currently looking for a place to hit the road on my bike that's safe to ride without getting run over by crazy drivers. There's a paved "rails to trails" about 20 miles from me......I'd have to transport my bike in the car to get there, but I think I'll give it a try once I'm out of work for the summer. This trail goes for miles.......once I'm at the trailhead, if I had the endurance and wanted to, I could ride for 75 miles........I'm not ready for that kind of a trip, but 20-30 miles would be cool to do once a week or so.
Sorry to hear your laptop died. Glad you can borrow one though! Hope your's won't be too expensive to get fixed. Read anything good lately?
Hey, it al sounds great Sandy! Congrats on the weight loss, it sounds like you are doing very well. Keep it up!
My laptop is still under warranty, so I should be OK. I just want it back, I miss it! I need to stock up on books, I'm almost at the end of my winter stash and needing some new reads. My coworker suggested reading World War Z, so I might look that one up. I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy, which was pretty good but very depressing. Now I'm reading Fight Club, since I love the movie but never got around to reading the novel.

I've got Fight Club, but haven't read it yet. My daughter found it in the donation box and brought it home for me. I'm currently reading Saint by Ted Dekker...second in the Project Showdown series. Strange reads, but page turners. Also read Patterson's new book Cross Country.....latest in the Alex Cross series. Also read the 2 newest books by Dean Koontz, though the titles escape my mind right now. After I finish the Dekker book, I've got to go to the library and re-fill my reading material.
I don't know much about it, but what my coworker described sounded interesting. I found a summary at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_Z, maybe check that out?

Have you checked out PaperBackSwap.com? It's a free service to trade your books for new ones. We've only traded a couple so far, apparently the books we want to get rid of are the ones people don't want.

My oldest girl bought a copy of Zombie Survival Guide for her boyfriend. He's always been afraid of zombies and she thought the book might help him with the nightmares he has.
He took the Zombie Survival test over on Facebook and it said he'd be one of the first to be infected. She took the test and scored as a leader of the zombie hunters. She told him she'd have mercy on him with a well-placed head shot.

He needs more zomby education, apparently.

Hey, how are you doing in Vampire Wars? Growing your clan? I'm approaching 200 clan members, but need to get a whole lot more. I'm level 45 and need to have 501 before I reach level 70; its approaching fast too......I'm leveling up during the night by some strong higher level vamps that are taking me along on their hunts while I'm sleeping.
That is true. My mental image of my nephew Alex is of a curly headed, giggly toddler. It freaks me out for a few seconds when I hear his voice now or see him all grown up and in the Marines.

It cracks me up. I see it more in Chris, but that makes sense because he lived with me longer. He's even caught himself channeling me and commented on it.
