Just and FYI that there is a new "zero day" (its being exploited now) vulnerability in the Adobe PDF Reader. This issue can be used to make your computer run code that you may not want it to run.
You can easily protect yourself by turning off Javascript in the reader. No one seems to even know why there is a Javascript feature in Adobe reader, but its there and its being abused.
To protect yourself, open your reader (easiest just to open a PDF file) and go to:
"Edit" and select "Preferences" On the left edge of the "Preferences" window, click on "Javascript" In the "Javascript" window, untick the "Enable Acrobat Javascript" box
You are now protected from this latest problem and this should have no effect on your viewing of PDF files.
