My weekends are pretty low key.  Usually it's weekend chores and just kicking back with a movie or two. 

No big plans for me, butThis weekend I think we'll venture out.  The Indian Ed class is sponsoring a PowWow tomorrow -- where there's pow wow's theres Indian Tacos!  smile   I invited my 12 year old grand daughter to come with me and Isaac.  Then we'll head to Tulsa and find Isaac swim trunks at Old Navy and her a couple short sets for her birthday.  Sunday evening, Mr. DS comes home from Mexico -- YAY!


How about everyone else?

TONIGHT we're going to see our friend rose who is recovering from a stroke & is in a nursing home. afterwards, we'll get some dinner somewhere and then get back and rest and relax with a coctail or two.

tomorrow, its off to get g-gal a bike, then we've got a special invitation to go to this like private railroad modlers clubhouse for a tour. that'll be something else...
we'll go to the butcher and get the monthly meat deal.
later on in the eve, my buddy rob's experimental jazz band is playing a club on the east side. we'll go there for dinner, drinks and weird music.smile

sunday after breakfast, we'll probably cook a big chicken in a slow cooker from the meat deal, have some of that, then get some to some friends who could use a good meal like that.

maybe ride bikes if the weather is nice?

sounds fun! does she already know what kind of bike she's getting? i hope y'all have nice bike riding weather. some of the experimental jazz and rock is pretty cool.

oh, yeah. i also told the boys we'd drive by the lake near our house to see how the beach looked -- hopefully not flooded.

Trust me, they have a s-load.
I wish we could make it for the Sat eve show. We'll see. We've got the OCW 9:30am - 2:30pm and a wedding reception following.

I'm hanging with my family this weekend. My sister is in town for my niece's graduation tomorrow. We just got home from a family dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant. I met my brother's fiance of the month. Yep... is in the finace of the month club. Right now sitting here with my sister and brother in law. We are discussing having a family portrait done tomorrow. My brother is psychotic enough to think we are all going to get together at 8AM for this experience. I told him that ain't happening.

Tomorrow is Rebekah's graduation is tomorrow evening. Not sure what the plan is after that.

Hoping to get around to mowing the yard on Sunday. We'll see what the weather does.
