Its that time of year where our lilac bush blooms. It seems extra pretty this year:

My mom loved lilacs. When ours blooms, it always makes me think of her.

Mine bloomed a few weeks ago. Its a white one... LOVE lilacs in bloom. The scent is awesome. Right now my irises are really going and they smell fabulous too. Even my vining rose bush is starting to pop. smile.gif

Wow, beautiful lilacs!  Mine are blooming too.  I noticed them on Friday when I got out of my car and could smell them in the air. smile

Those are absolutely beautiful Web! I love lilacs - it reminds me of my childhood. When I was little I loved the early evening scent of lilacs in my grandparents' neighborhood and would just bury my nose in the blooms!

Beautiful. Lilacs remind me of staying with my Grama when I was a little girl. The scent creeping through open windows on a warm spring evening.
