Friday before a 3 day weekend!!

Hi all! I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend! I have no plans cuz father-in-law is still in the hospital. He had vascular surgery and went looney again from the anesthesia and morphine. He still has like 3 more surgeries they want to do but not sure of the spacing out of them.

I've managed to hurt my wrist while buttoning up my shorts.

So I will be working with my brace today.

FRIDAY -- YAY! Although we don't have anything planned for this holiday weekend, except yard work, I am looking forward to some time off. All this nothing to do at work is wearing me out.

wow I had crazy dreams all last night, where the salient theme was that nothing I did was good enough, and all my best attempts ended in dissapointments. So I woke up and am currently bummed out. I hate when dreams affect my waking mood. cry

I got one of the "don't wanna do" jobs done. My dad is bringing his tiller for the garden tomorrow. The grass has pushed its way into the garden and we need to widen it back out again. I sprayed the grass with Roundup last weekend. Today, I made some cuts into it every few inches with a spade to help the tiller get it chopped up.

Good day all! Day one of vacation for me.

Its been very low key for me so far, but I have already checked one thing off my "to do" list for today: Buy present for grandson's birthday tomorrow. Not much else to report at the moment.
