A special Thank You to all our fallen soldiers today.
It looks like its going to be a beautiful day here again. This has been a surprisingly nice stretch of weather for this time of year in WI. Ordinarily April & May is relatively windy, cool and rainy.
I've got a friend that has a huge family camping trip up near the Wisconsin / Minnesota border. About 70 of her friends and family have been getting together for 20+ years and typically it's a miserable time because of cold and rain. Not this year. I bet she's having a blast out there!
As for me, I'm thinking a trip to some of the local furniture stores is in order to start choosing a couch, recliner, bed & dining room table for the new apartment. I'm hoping that I can order in advance but put delivery off a few months (not sure if any of them will do that or not).
It would be a shame to miss out on some of the great Memorial Day sales they have running though.
Happy Memorial Day. A heartfelt thank you to all of those who fought for and died for our country so that we may live as we do today. There are simply not words adquate enough to express:
Its rainy and cooler here today. Its supposed to thunderstorm for the next two days as well. I guess I will be putting off further yard work until later this week.
