Stevie B

I don't think we have heard from Stevie B lately?  Any one know, is he OK, vacation, or is it just still too cold in Idaho?

we've lost some pretty active participants who were here in the early days. I wonder what happened to ScottinTX- he was here frequently and then one day was gone. Stevie B too where'd ya go?

I hope we haven't all been victims of IT guys.  You know how they are.  They take away all the good stuff.  I'm still bitter about losing my FFR at work.  Hope StevieB comes back soon.

I am occasionally a victim of IT. A couple times a week the filter kicks in and I am unable to join all you lovely people for the day. I hate when that happens.

I'm not sure if there's any truth to this or not, but I read somewhere, (on a competing stations forum), that REALPLAYER doesn't get filtered out when the IP guy decides to ban Live365.

So if you want to bypass the IT guy you may be able to use that.

HOWEVER - FREEZE-FRAME RADIO IN NO WAY ENDORSES THE IDEA OF DEFEATING YOUR EMPLOYERS EFFORTS TO HALT YOUR INTERNET RADIO LISTENING ABILITIES.  WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE LOSING THEIR JOBS BECAUSE THEY WERE TUNING INTO FREEZE-FRAME RADIO AGAINST COMPANY POLICIES!

Yeah, my IT guy would catch me.  That's a big no-no here and it is subject to immediate termination.  Don't think I'll try it.  Thanks for the info, though.  I will be able to listen to it at home again soon.  I can't wait for that.  I will have to start tuning in again and give some of my Live365 money to FFR.  Woohoo!

Hey, I am here.  I have not been on at work because of the IT BIG Brothers and also because I have been swamped with meetings, etc.  I then had some family issues back in PA that I had to attend too, but I am back in Idaho and will try to be more active.

Thanks for wondering about me.

Good to have you back StevieB.  What part of PA were you in?  I used to live in Pittsburgh.  That sucks about the IT guys.  I just waiting for that to happen to me.

Yes, IT guys suck!

We used to ask listeners to tell the person in the next "cube" about us, but I think it's actually better if we remain your own personal little secret.

Every person that tunes in within your company sucks up more bandwith.  Eventually the servers slow down and the IT guys wonder why.  It doesn't take long from there for them to see that there's a lot of bandwith being used for streaming audio.

Welcome back, Stevie B.  Sorry to hear about your family problems.  Hope everything worked out all right.  Sorry to hear about your IT problems, too.  I can definitely identify.  Hope you're less swamped soon and we get to hear from you more!

I am at my desk all day today and I am having major FFR withdrawals and so I decided to tune in for as long as I can today.  Good to be back.

Good to hear Riggs for a bit today too..

Hey Stevie B!  Glad to see you around!

I just FINALLY got that Al B. Sure song "Night And Day" you wanted.  I loaded it up this morning!  I'll put it in the cue and move it near the top as a welcome back gesture
