I'm in a pretty good mood this morning. Probably because my husbands been in a good mood, and doing things like CLEANING THE HOUSE! I feel like I need to do something for him to thank him (and yes, I already offered that).
Morning all. Just another day. I didn't win the powerball jackpot. I thought it would have made for a nice birthday present to myself. Oh well. Maybe Sparky played and won it (and is willing to share a little bit of $).

We've got friends coming through town today and they want to stop and have lunch with us. We haven't seen them in a few years so that should be fun.
My son just called to ask me something. I always smile when he calls because the initial phone exchange always goes like this:
Boy: "Dad?"
Me: "Yes, hi"
Boy: "Um, this is um, Logan"
I usually have it figured out who he is when he asks if its dad, but apparently he doesn't want to leave me guessing.
We got his report card and achievement test results back yesterday. He does get to move on to 3rd grade (Yay!). He did well on the achievement tests. With 50% being average, his lowest score was 72% (Social studies) and his highest (math) said he is in the top 99% of all 2nd graders. Hopefully he's off to a good start and has something else to fall back on because I'm pretty sure his career as a professional athlete will be short lived.
