Morning all. Well, Friday is upon us. Payday for me too. I am in early in order to try not to have to come in here over the weekend. I anticipate a bad work day. So much to do and so little time.

We have another rainy, foggy, humid kind of day. I don't remember the last time I saw the sun.

Good morning all.  My youngest daughter started Driver's Ed last night, and when I picked her up, she told me they are going on the road today........on I-75 down to Flint and back.  WTF??!!!  She's never been behind the wheel of a car before, doesn't know the first thing about driving, and they're going to have her driving on the expressway??  They must have a death wish!!  Needless to say, I'm not happy with this. no

Yay!  FRIDAY!  Tomorrow is sleep in day -- my favorite day of the week!

Tulsa metro is expecting hail and damaging winds today.  I hope there's room in the warehouse for our cars.

Ghost, are you kidding?  Our kids have their first week in class going over the rules and regulations, then they start them on the streets around town before they take them into the city.  Death wish indeed!

Fuzzy, I was thinking of you when I was playing nerf darts with Isaac last night.  How was dart night?

MZ, sounds like a busy day --  better busy at home than work --  no etches at home!

We're really slow around here. I've only been up for about 1/2 hr and every other life form in the house is still sleeping hard.

Web - Ah, well long road trips and a rainy morning make for a good sleep in day.

DS - I had a decent night. I think I set a new personal high in game two. We'll see if it holds as the high game for the women all season. And I should have helped my a little bit. Maybe I can stay in the top 10 in average too. Plus, it is more important that we took two of three games and won the overall points. So we took three of four. Hopefully that should keep us in second place.

Ghost - I am scared for your kid. That seems very quick to jump behind the wheel.

Mz - Have fun getting all shiny and pretty today.

where has woo been, why has ruby never come back??hmm


I was wondering the same thing about Ruby.  She seemed to be having a lot of trouble, and then just dropped off the radar completely.  Has anyone heard from her?  I hope she's ok.

I think we've lost Woo to Twitter.

We went on the bypass the second time we drove in driver's ed, and we drove on the first day. We were in groups, and I was the only one in my group that had no driving experience. On our first day, he had us in this big parking lot, driving backwards around light poles, and he had to use the brake so I didn't back into a pole. Then he had ME drive back to the school! I was so scared. Trial by fire I guess.

The storm has passed... No torpedoes and no hail. Lots of rain. It's going to be muggy when the sun comes out...

Too funny, MZ. I would think that Driver's Ed teachers would require nerves of steel. The teacher where Jake goes to school has been there for at least 25 years -- he taught the mom of Jakes girlfriend!

Grandson #1 left town with the great-grandparents (my parents) this morning.  I'm sad.  They're going fishing somewhere in Wisconsin.  All the Wisconsin-ites out there...please go find my boy & keep him safe, k?

Aww... I was wondering if Woo had a new addiction : ( Hope she drops by sometime and plays awhile.

I talk to Ruby at least once a week. She have been dealing with family dynamics as well as been busy at work. She has up days and down days. I think she will come back, but don't really know when. I'll tell her y'all are asking for her next time I talk to her.
