I just dedicated a song to all of the board members. Not that we're geeks, but because I love the song and I love the boards. Just when you think FFR can't get any better, they get the boards and now requests. I am loving this station, even though I don't get to hear it. How weird is that?

Thanks Star, awfully thoughtful of you! Funny, I used to keep the forum up in a minimized screen - now I'm torn between this screen and the Now Playing screen. And now I just noticed I've got BOTH open in different windows. I think I may have the beginning of a problem....

The activity today IS cheering me up though, my other online community is closing shop this weekend, just found out this morning. Don't worry, Jeremy, not a competitor, this one was a support group for weight loss (remember my earlier comment about the incentive of an ugly bridesmaid dress?) I've lost 20 pounds since January!! Now I gotta go find another one to keep me on my toes and off the couch. Grr...

Zim, I'm a member of Blubber Busters, an MSN group. They don't do a whole lot of posting on their boards, but it's something you might check out. Plus, someone said something about 80's on there and I posted a plug for FFR, so it just seems fitting to post something for them here. (No pun intended).

Thanks MZ, I'm hoping to find another board that has an active group of posters for weekly weigh-ins, that sort of thing. Without accountability to something like that, I'm very likely to make triple layer checkerboard cakes like the one I made last night WAY too often! I like the idea of a board sponsored by a GROUP, like MSN, versus a person. I think the board owner wasn't making progress on her 50 pounds and was getting a little disgruntled about managing a board working for others, but not for herself (totally understandable).

Yep, BlubberBusters has weekly weigh ins, journals, daily support messages, etc. There's not always a new message every day, but it keeps me on my toes.
